'The hotel is a delightful old building, with high ceilings and lovely woodwork. And while old, it is clearly well-maintained. The bed was quite comfortable, with sufficient pillows and the bonus of an extra blanket. All in all, a very nice place to stay.'

'My wife and I brought our 5 year old grandson, and we really enjoyed our stay. The pool is great. It’s not gigantic, but it’s heated and it’s indoor/outdoor. You can swim (or walk, it’s not very deep) to one end, push through a plastic flap door and be outside. During our stay it was a frigid 30 degree Illinois Winter Day. Interesting sensation to be in a heated pool outside. Me and the grandson loved it. The wife stayed inside. Most people poke their heads outside for a minute then come...

'Check in was a breeze. Staff welcoming and friendly. Room was very nice and clean. I stayed here last December and decided to stay again because of the positive experience. I don’t get to have breakfast because I catch a 5:00 am flight to TN. It would be nice to have a bowl or plate with a banana or apple and a few granola bars. After we boarded we ended up with an hour and a half delay. '
