The room does not have a mini fridge so while searching for a place to store two bottles of beer and lunch food I was told I cannot bring my own food here to make sandwiches for a lunch nor can I drink my two beers on their property because they supply and make their own wine and beer (and expect us to buy their product). 'This is a hidden gem if you want to explore the Douro Valley area around Pinhao . Staff were excellent especially made great recommendations on places to go and things to do . We opted to eat at the property and it was a great choice as the food was really good. Would rate this place as 5 star . '

Elk plateau waar de hoelkamers liggen, is bereikbaar via trappen. Mijn partner is slecht ter been, maar dit was geen probleem. 'The whole hotel is extreem noisy, you hear really everything. Our room: Airco not working, hair dryer which burns your hand but does not blow. WiFi terrible bad signal. Made our discomfort at the reception, sorry was al, no little compensation in any form nothing. They even did not write down the problems with our room. If you have the possibility skip this hotel.'
