'This hotel is in a terrible area. They were holding a private event and the music was so loud the entire block was vibrating. They could not accommodate parking for my Tahoe. One garage required an elevator and the other fills up at night. On street parking did not appear to be easy. We did not end up staying. We talked to the front desk and they allowed us to leave and have us a full refund with no problem. Staff at front desk was very friendly and nice.'

'The gentleman at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful especially when I couldn’t figure out/didn’t read the directions for the coffee maker. He seamlessly combined the two separate reservations allowing me to stay in the same room. The young woman who took my breakfast breakfast was delightful and pleasant. The food was delicious and served very quickly. I absolutely loved the style and comfort of the couch. The only issue I had was the mattress needed to be replaced.'

'I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. At first, I was a little taken aback by the outdated motel sign, but I figured they might be rebranding, so I decided to give them a chance and I'm so glad I did. Both young ladies that checked us in and out were friendly, professional, and very welcoming. Our room was clean, modern, spacious, and well-lit, with a comfortable king-sized bed, smart TV, mini fridge, microwave, and everything we needed for a comfortable stay....

'I was supposed to stay for the week, I checked in and 20 minutes later checked out. Rooms are disgusting. There’s basically no lights in the rooms or the bathroom, and window is covered by a huge blanket. The AC is in the window and has what looks like mold. My phone was in SOS the entire time I was on the property, even though I tried several times to connect to the internet. Extremely dangerous. There are several notes that the hotel is not responsible for items and cash taken from your car...

'The pool was shut down, coming from outta state, my boys were looking forward to hanging out at the pool. The bar was closed. These are things that should be sent out in an email to make you aware before arriving. The bathroom was forty tiet coveted in urine I called to report byt I ended up cleaning it myself. I'm not one to write reviews like this but I was truly unhappy with my visit this weekend'

'I always stay here when visiting my son in school. It has everything I need for a short term stay - microwave, coffee maker, fridge and an excellent (firm) bed. Plenty of free parking and a wonderful Chinese restaurant next door. The AC and heat system can be a bit noisy. And while there is nothing ‘fancy’ about the place and the walkway to the rooms could use some sprucing up, that is nothing compared to the convenience, friendliness and efficiency of the Manhasset Travelodge.
