'Zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw die gezellig een praatje komt maken als je dat op prijs stelt en voor je klaar staat. Prima eenvoudig en meer dan voldoende ontbijt. De B&B zit in een oud victoriaans gebouw, badkamer kan een opknapbeurt gebruiken (voorbereiding daarvan leek al in gang gezet). Daarom iets lagere score op netheid en staat van accommodatie. Op loopafstand vind je de ferry naar Portsmouth met een oude haven en nieuwe shoppingoutlet en boulevard met arcades, kermis en meer vermaak.'

'Heel erg fijn hotel. Ligging geweldig, parkeren heel goedkoop in garage. Veel winkels en op loopafstand van de Historic Dockyards. Goede restaurants om de hoek.
Twee kleine minpuntjes: ondanks een heerlijke douche, is die wel toe aan een nieuwe kitrand en de bedden zijn aan de smalle kant (maar slapen lekker).'
'I stayed at the royal maritimime hotel for 2 nights and the room was very comfortable,the bathroom was lovely and big and there was daily housekeeping. Only downside is I noticed after the housekeeping had been, in the shower the small bottle of shower gel was still on the floor in the shower so I don't think the shower had got done but that is my only criticism.
I had breakfast on my first day and there was good choice and it was nice and hot , I choose to have breakfast in town on my 2nd day...
'An absolutely perfect place to stay! Don't waste time looking anywhere else, it's beautiful here and we honestly hope to stay here again. We had the harbour view room and it's worth staying here for that alone! The staff were really lovely, the breakfast was great and the location is incredible. 'Although we were in one of the anexes, this hotel worked out well.
Staff were always smiling and laughing with us.

'I stayed at this hotel three night for business on the other side of the road. Apart from the obvious really convenient location i was surprised by the high level of comfort in this fairly good priced hotel. Everything is brand new, good airconditioning, comfortable bed, big tv and powerfull shower. The room is basic but very modern, everything you need is exactly at the location where you need it (like usb ports around the bed). I had a great stay and will definately come back'
'We had a very enjoyable stay at Strattons Hotel. The hotel was one of six I believe. We were just over the road from reception and where the restaurant is located. Very clean room which wasn’t as big as I was expecting but more than adequate for myself and my husband. I arranged for a bottle of Prosecco to be in the room for when we arrived, this was done along with a birthday card - lovely touch. Breakfast was brilliant.
