Entire downstairs of our home which includes a large bedroom with queen size bed, bathroom with shower, a 2nd bedroom with a queen size Murphy bed, and large living room with 60” television two queen anne chairs and a comfortable couch. Also has a mini fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, and toaster oven. We also provide a queen size air mattress to accommodate more guests. Access can be made either thru the front door then down the stairs or through a patio door off the downstairs family room. Beautiful view of Lake Superior and wonderful sunsets in the evenings. Quaint small town environment with numerous activities, especially if you are an outdoor type of person. 30 miles from Houghton and Michigan Tech University, 70 miles west of Marquette which is home to Northern Michigan University. Lots of outdoor beauty in the area especially in the fall when the colors change. Winter time is also fun if you snowmobile, ice fish, or ski at the Porcupine Mountains (60) miles away. We do respect your privacy while staying here. We are available for information on sites to see or places to eat as well. Picnic table and fire pit are available just outside the patio doors off the living room. There are security cameras on the front and side of the house ….734-455-3231

This is a great property. Close enough to be a comfortable drive MTU. Amazing view. Quiet and pleasant.

This was nothing like we anticipated. After a very very long drive this couple met us at the door ?? The add says ENTIRE HOME! If I knew we were going to be there guests never ever would have booked this place since the things we wanted to do were at least a hour away. We never felt comfortable there so we payed almost the same amount to this couple for three nights in hotels. I would look for something more conducive to your needs unless you want house guests? We were never there only to sleep never even ate there since there is no door from the upstairs we whispered literally . My friend that drinks coffee never ever used the coffee pot or anything . If they would have had a washer and dryer I would have washed the towels that we used for showers… very misleading vacationers beware . P.s they have so beautiful things that we were afraid we would break if we touched the dresser I do not feel this kid friendly or handicap accessible especially if you CANT DO stairs they need to be more transparent in the add.

My kids have never slept so well!
What a wonderful place to stay! We were in L’Anse to attend a funeral and this was the most peaceful place to stay. My kids (6-8) often have a hard time falling asleep in a new place, but they had no problems here! We all enjoyed the zucchini bread and candy! We can’t thank you enough for such a comfortable, clean, peaceful stay!

My brother and I stayed here during a motorcycle trip, and could not be more pleased. The hosts are wonderful people, the property and view was beautiful, and the rooms and beds and such were great! Wonderful experience, we will not hesitate to come here again - thank you!

Beautiful home
Beautiful, clean home. Just like the online listing describes the property. You are staying in the lower level of their home. Hosts are thoughtful, they provided a binder full of local activities, have lots of USB chargers and even left a delicious sweet roll. We stayed here while visiting our daughter at MTU, which was about a 35-40 minute drive. Places to stay in the Houghton area are limited, so this was a nice option for us.

Staying in L’ Anse
Staying in someone’s basement May seem a little odd, but this was a great experience. The host was very friendly, gave us a tour of the place. Made sure we had everything we needed. Was available for suggestions on where to eat dinner and had resources for things to dining the area. The space we stayed in was comfortable and everything we needed. I would stay here again.
