« Internet a bit spotty in rooms (great in reception). Beautiful hotel, clean, comfy bed - but location is sketchy as hell. Straight on the street and (as a white male) I got a lot of scary looks. Right next to the bus station so there is a lot of noise all through the night with horns blaring constantly. A shame because the hotel itself (and the staff) are lovely. Breakfast was also quite tasty in the restaurant next door (Soy). »

« As expected given the price this is far from an upmarket area. The rooms were small but clean. Initially I was given a not very nice room with an ensuite that was more like an alcove with no shower but was fortunately moved to a better one. We had to navigate building works to get into the property and then walk on a raised wooden walkway. The place was clean and the staff pleasant and helpful »

« Stay away from this property - it seems to be a scam! Despite a confirmed booking by Expedia, upon arrival at Lux Suites the Palm around 8h30pm in the evening, I was told that there was no room available. There was no manager on-site, but the security guard called someone who told him to send us away. The person on the phone said they had been fully booked since the day before and that I had to take up any issue with Expedia. We were unceremoniously sent away late in the evening in an area of...
