'Excepted my form of payment and charged my card $200 and they next day I tried to get another one room the refused my same card. Told me to walk to the nearest gas station to move my money. Told by the general manager himself. Had to walk to another hotel and pay for a room. Do not recommend this hotel. Looks nice on the outside. Terrible customer service.'

'The location had been hit by big storms the day before I arrived and it rained the entire stay. The staff lent us an umbrella to use for the gravesite service we had in the rain - MUCH appreciated.'

'Fairfield is a beautiful hotel, especially when compared to others in its class. The long rooms are spacious with large walk in showers. Our bed was comfortable, the room was quiet and dark.
Complimentary breakfast Sunday morning was good. There were ham, veggie and cheese frittatas along with turkey or pork sausage, hard boiled eggs, biscuits and gravy, lots of condiments and the usual waffle, bagels, muffin and cereal assortment. Coffee is good and you can get tea in the evening, really nice...

'Well they assigned someone else to our room and someone tried to enter around 2:00am. We were told by housekeeping and at breakfast that we were not even listed as being there. They did get this straightened out but it was a little upsetting.'

'The room was spacious and had a kitchen. The big screen TV was nice. The living room was comfortable. The bed which is listed as a queen, is not quite the size of a queen, but it was larger than a double.
The staff was helpful. We had a squeaky bathroom door, which was located in the bedroom. I told the front desk and they took care of it while we were out.
The place felt like there were people that lived there full time. I'm don't know for sure.
The doors to the rooms slammed...
