This condo exceeded our expectations! The location was picture perfect. It felt like we had our own Maui home right on a private beach. It was spacious for our family of 5 and easy access to island activities. The pool/common area was a great place to unwind after our day adventures. The communication from the property management was excellent and it made our stay very easy. We will definitely be coming back!

This small, peaceful, low density property was perfect for relaxing by the water & generally doing nothing. Interior & furnishings were comfortable, location is in a great safe neighborhood. The view and easy access to calm water for snorkeling can not be beat. Our only complaint was that the assigned parking space was under a low (5' 7") roof and absolutely tiny. Thankfully the property was not completely full, and we were able to park in the small open air lot.Our only complaint

Fantastic apartment

We traveled as a family of four and found the apartment spacious and very clean. It had every we needed for a six night beach holiday. The property is older but very well maintained and a highlight for us all was spotting the turtles in the water.

Most favorite place yet!

This was our second time staying in Hoyoch Nikko complex but by far our favorite unit. The place was clean, stocked with everything we needed and even had sharp knives 😱 Every time we needed something in the kitchen it was there, the furniture was all supportive and comfortable and it really felt like the owns had gone the extra mile on decorations and getting quality furnishings.

Great Family Property!

Our family of 4 stayed in the condo and we were so impressed! It was exactly as pictured, clean and the location was great. We even snorkled in the ocean in front of the property and were able to see some sea turtles! Management was very responsive to any needs. I would advise the parking garage is very short, a SUV of any size will not fit. Overall we would happily stay here again! Mahalo

Epic Maui Experience

The ambiance of the high end nautical decor, breathtaking views, private beach, attentive property manager, beautifully manicured garden, visiting sea turtles and whales, all contributed to this being a vacation of a lifetime! We were close to all the best excursions, and looked forward to returning to our condo each night! We even preferred our beach to the highest rated beaches around. This condo was perfect for us. The location to Lahaina, beaches, and food was ideal. We stayed for 10 nights and never got bored of the spectacular views and fun pool. We saw turtles everyday from our balcony and in the ocean. The condo itself is exactly as pictured - updated, stocked and clean. One of the best we have ever stayed in. The response from the management team was amazing too.

Absolutely Perfect!

My first time to Hawaii could not have been any better! The condo was very comfortable and up-to-date. The view was wonderful - loved sitting on the balcony and relaxing. We all loved the fact that it felt like a home, not a big resort. There were always plenty of lounge chairs to relax in even with about 15 units. The manager was up every morning taking wonderful care of the beautiful grounds. Parking was very tight so rent a small car. BUT we would definitely stay there again!

Amazing Ocean View!

The condo was exactly as described!!! It was almost as if we could dive into the ocean from the balcony!! The rooms were a good size and everything we needed to cook in was here. My adult girls loved the short walk to get coffee and enjoyed a couple nights out at whalers village and front street which was a short 15 min drive. My favorite part of staying here were the turtles. We saw one basking in the sand and I got to swim with one while snorkeling!!! We will definitely recommend this place to friends amd family!

Updated relaxation in paradise

Condo is clean, updated, furnished with nice goods. Easy to make home for the week. Rental company was very responsive and helpful when we needed an extra night. Two teens upstairs in twin beds, mom and dad in king bedroom. Living room and spacious balcony allowed everyone space to have down time. We saw many turtles, and whales spouting off the coast. A/C was cool, and ceiling fans were great with the double sliding doors open.

Everything you see in the pictures is just how it is. Beautiful view, beach and ocean perfect, pool wonderful. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay. This place is very peaceful. Very comfortable for our family of 4 which includes 2 teenagers. Plenty of supplies already there for your use including beach towels, some laundry detergent, dw detergent, shampoo/conditioner, body wash and lotion. A/C worked perfectly, which we turned off during the day and opened the very wide porch doors. We always had a nice breeze. Plenty of outdoor seating on the porch and the pool/beach. Even a cooler was supplied that we took on our trip to Hana. We were nervous about the parking. We rented a midsize car and had no troubles. We would definitely come back. We hated to leave.

Pleasantly surprised by the inside of the condo. Usually online photos are enhanced or make the property look better than it is, but this condo was exactly as described! We really enjoyed our stay! Very clean! Love that it had wood floors and no carpet! The only thing I would recommend to others is to be sure to read description for parking! We had our car rental before we chose the condo and we had rented a jeep. The parking is EXTREMELY small. The jeep fit but we scraped the top every time we entered and exited. Not sure what people do if they had already rented a van or something larger. Other than that great place and good location as well. We did not snorkel at the beach right there but we did see turtles and the water was exceptionally blue, However, it was rough off and on.

A gem of a spot!

We were SO impressed with this lovely unit and with the entire Hoyochi Nikko condominium complex! This spacious unit with a cathedral ceiling and loft was fully remodeled in late 2020 and is both comfortable and stunning. Great care was taken with the selection of beautiful furnishings. The unit has automatic window blinds over the lanai doors to keep late-afternoon sun out (and the unit cooler). The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need for cooking meals at home - plenty of quality cookware and every size mixing and serving bowl imaginable. I especially loved that they provided plastic containers for toting snacks to the beach. It was so convenient! We visited in February (in time for whale season) so didn't need to use the air conditioners, but there are two and they both operate on a heat pump system - I'm guessing they are quiet and efficient. We did use the ceiling fans, which kept the air moving! The lanai overlooks the water, and each evening we'd sit spellbound watching the sunset, with the island of Molokai in the distance and whales spouting and breaching in the channel. Very often, someone from a neighboring condo would announce sunset by blowing a conch shell, which is a Hawaiian tradition. Both the pool and the grounds were kept immaculate by the friendly property manager who lives on site. I believe there are about 18 units total in this 2-story complex, which makes for a cozy and quiet environment. It was built in the early 70's and has a lovely old-school charm to it. We only had two challenges, neither of which could be helped. The assigned parking is located underneath the building, and our parking spot was against the wall at the back. The ceiling height is low (about 6'5" or so). You'll need to take extra care parking, but you get used to it. We rented a Nissan Murano compact SUV and did fine. The other challenge is that the main road is a bit noisier than I expected. The master bedroom is located on the street side, so on occasion it was hard to fall asleep even with the windows shut. That said, had I used the A/C it probably would have muffled the noise (I'm also a light sleeper who retires early, so keep that in mind). The condo is conveniently located just north of Haanapali Beach and close to restaurants and other conveniences. This was my first trip to Maui, and I'm so pleased we stayed at this lovely spot in West Maui! Mahalo to the owners and everyone who made our stay so unforgettable.

Amazing stay

Beautiful condo and property. Updated throughout, with modern decor and appliances. Steps away from the ocean, where we swam with sea turtles daily. Complex was very laid back and kid friendly. Convenient location just outside of the hustle and bustle of Lahaina. Parking can be tricky if you don’t rent a small, compact car (which is advised by the property managers ahead of check-in). Would definitely stay here again!

This was our second visit to the Hoyochi Nikko and it did not disappoint. The unit was beautifully updated and comfortable for our family of four. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could need. There were plenty of towels, lawn chairs, and a cooler. The management team reached out when we arrived and promptly answered any issues. The parking is tight but maneuverable. We had a wonderful stay and cannot wait to return.
