Highlights of your experience include a home that is beautifully remodeled, and comfortably sleeps 8 adults, up to 11 total. This lovely, private location (8 acres total) boasts a 3-acre yard, outdoor custom built "grillhaus", lanai-enclosed pool, and many special amenities you won't expect to see elsewhere. An 8 ft. picnic table near the "grillhaus" provides a picnic style outdoor venue that you will enjoy amongst the shady oaks. (Wi-fi enabled) keyless entry provides personalized, easy and secure access to the home.
A newly added home office (desk, printer and supplies) gives you the option to work remotely if required.
Although not waterfront, this local region is famous for manatees in hot-spring fed rivers, kayaking, state parks teeming with local wildlife with easy access walkways, world class scalloping, and kiddie-friendly gulf beaches.
A GOLFER’S PARADISE, 3 golf courses are in town, and another 28 are within 20 miles.
Our “Floridian Getaway" with an open floor plan enables the kitchen, living room and dining room to serve as a comfortable “great room” for family time. There is a large screen Smart TV in the great room area, as well as TVs in the master bedroom and larger guest bedroom. A fifth generation Alexa Dot provides for your favorite music surrounding you while you vacation. It resides in the living room, on a portable battery base, allowing for poolside use.

The kitchen features granite countertops and a large, center island "butcher block"-style food preparation area. Large appliances include electric range, oven and refrigerator (with icemaker), as well as small appliances: toaster, coffee maker, and blender. Food preparation utensils and dining service for 8 are provided.

A screened lanai with a heated pool (with a safety fence for young children), "grillhaus" and lounge chairs are adjacent to the living room through French doors. The large yard is surrounded by trees on the west, north and east sides providing wonderful privacy.

The sunroom is a perfect location to enjoy the sunrise with your morning coffee. It is surrounded by glass windows on three sides. This space doubles as game room, with foosball table, many family board games and puzzles available for your leisure time enjoyment.

There is a carport, single large vehicle-sized. There is also a secure 26’ x 24’ garage which is optionally available for parking upon request for an additional fee. There is plenty of uncovered parking for additional vehicles and your boat(s). (Check the satellite view on Google maps to see how much parking space we have!)

The master and "second" bedroom have queen beds. The "third" bedroom has sturdy (singles) bunks. A futon in the sunroom can fold down to a double-sized bed. In addition to these (up to) 8 adult sleeping accommodations, an L-shaped sofa has 18 linear feet of comfort; air mattress is onsite, and a pack n play provides sleeping options for the youngsters.

The master bathroom has granite countertop, tiled flooring, dual sinks and a walk-in shower. The second bathroom (granite countertop) has both bath and shower.

For your (and our) peace of mind we have several security cameras onsite. These outside cameras are positioned in order to provide security while maintaining your poolside privacy.

Our “Florida Jewel” is located about 95 miles from the Disney vacation attractions and is about an hour north of fabulous Tampa-area attractions, including Busch Gardens and Clearwater Beach, recently ranked the #1 beach in the nation.

Please note that climate factors occasionally impact pool usability; review the pool section of Guest Instructions which are emailed to each guest 4 days prior to check in date and also available upon request. Parental supervision of children using (or near) the pool is required at all times.

Late Checkout Fee
Checkout is 10:00 am unless previously approved by Lu Ann via the VRBO site. In the event that a late checkout is not approved ahead of time, a fee of $50.00 will be deducted from your security deposit.
