'Such a lovely quiet area , the garden area on good day is great to sit out in , breakfast is really good too'

'The staff was more than helpful, food was superb, room was cosy, because I couldn’t have breakfast they put me up a packed lunch. More than happy to stay again.'

'Booking restaurant reservations for more than six people is via an automated telephone system which isn’t managed. Very difficult to book a table. Book on line should provide a larger table capacity selection or provide an email to request a table for larger parties not the telephone system.'

'We had a very comfortable stay at the wheatsheaf in Swindon, staff were friendly and welcoming, a bar that was open for drinks and places to sit and relax. Our room was comfortable although window wouldn’t stay open to let in fresh air as it was a warm day outside. Our even meal was delicious with a good choice of menu. Breakfast was also good and the service was swift. a great start to our day. All in all an enjoyable stay would revisit this hotel again in the future.'

'Don’t expect leisure access.'

'Very friendly host with lots of useful local info. Top quality delicious breakfast, comfortable bed.'

Breakfast was surprisingly included and very tasty. Did not have dinner as there was nothing small that I wanted to eat. 'Check in was not good. I traveled from a different country and needed wifi to get a code. I had to drive 5 miles to get to a friend to call the owners. The owners were in and out of service so they could only text. When i finally got the proper code. It was 5 flights of steep stairs. It should have been told how many flights of stairs to go with a large suitcase.'

'Lovely clean property, slept 5 people, very warm and cosy in a lovely quiet location on a working farm. Had everything we needed and more, owner was very helpful and generous. Great lication for waljs and visiting surrounding areas within short distances to travel.'

'It was fine for an overnight stay. However we both found the beds very uncomfortable. Nice enough bar and friendly locals.'
