Water Street Townhome #6 – Downtown Saugatuck Retreat

This stylish yet relaxed three-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bath townhome is perfect for families or groups of friends. Nestled in the heart of downtown Saugatuck, it offers stunning views of the channel and Mt. Baldhead. Spread across three floors, the home provides ample space for gatherings. The main floor features a comfortable family room with a sleeper sofa, alongside an updated kitchen and dining area fully equipped for home-style cooking. Two decks off the main level invite you to enjoy morning coffee or an evening nightcap.

The townhome has three bedrooms: two with queen beds and private bathrooms, and a third with a queen bed and a full bathroom just down the hall. The space comfortably sleeps six guests, making it ideal for a small group. Its prime downtown location puts you just steps from shops, restaurants, and boat docks, allowing you to enjoy everything Saugatuck has to offer. For larger groups, the neighboring Malaya Riverside Townhome offers an identical layout, making it easy to accommodate up to twelve guests.

A base for a family visit with our kids spread across W MI & Chicago

This condo is uniquely located outside the main road in Saugatuck with lots of traffic, but right next to the shopping, restaurant & waterfront areas. We always enjoy staying right in Saugatuck for all it has to offer. This year, I also took the Crank Ferry across the river and walked to Oval Beach and then down to the Kalamazoo River inlet along Lake Michigan - what a great walk, and really good birding. The unite is comfortable and offers a solid destination for us and for our kids.

Overall, we had a great visit. The property was in good shape and perfect for our group. In addition to the check-in issues as well as the inability to control the HVAC, with which you are familiar, we have several suggestions for the owner: 1. Use top sheets that fit a Q bed....it appears that double bed sheets were used, and they were too small 2. Provide key pad access through the back door. By not having that, and needing to keep the outside door locked for security (plus there is a nice motorcycle stored in the garage), garage access was impossible and useless. We parked both cars on the street, which would be difficult no doubt during the busy season. Thank you, Rothman Family

Beautiful clean townhouse, great location, water view!

This is a beautiful townhouse in a great location. It is close enough to walk to everything. It is directly across from the Kalamazoo River, and it's main bedroom has a view of the River (there are trees in front, otherwise you would be able to see it from the living room deck). The townhouse has 3 bedrooms with 3 full baths, as well as a powder room on the main floor, which was very convenient. One thing to keep in mind, it is a 3 floor townhouse, so keep that in mind if stairs are a challenge. We went in early October, so street parking was no problem, but this townhouse does have a garage space and a space on the apron of the garage. I'm sure that is a must during the summer! We really liked this property and would absolutely stay here again.

This condo is in an awesome location. Just at the end of Water Street and the entertainment district area. Easy walk to everything. Marina and multiple waterfront restaurants/bars just across the street. Ample parking. Overall, great spot. Will stay again if possible on future visits!

Week at the beach

The property was very nice. Loved the location, right across the street from the Star of Saugatuck. Was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were great. Just wish they would put a screen on the front sliding door, so could be opened without bugs coming in.

The location was amazing as it was in close proximity to the adorable shops/restaurants in Saugatuck. The condo was nice overall but a couple of the bathrooms needed updating. We weren’t left with trash bags, WiFi password, etc and the after hours line was for emergencies only. The screens were damaged and part of the microwave vent cover kept falls off. There was also debris under one of the beds which was concerning. Overall, a decent condo in a fantastic location!

The town home was right downtown, which is so convenient!

The town home is clean and extremely easy access. Currently, it is without a washer and dryer. However, it looked like they had new ones in the garage to install. Also, there are only two parking spaces. So, if you have more than two cars you will need to find parking on the street. I'm sure during non holiday weekends it is extremely easy to do so.
