OVERVIEW
Hold your breath and believe in magic, as you enter The View. The stunning modern interior of this luxury penthouse apartment is matched only by the enchanting vista that greets you from the balcony. We think it’s the best view on the Island - and you find it slap bang in the middle of bustling Holetown. What could be better?

LOCATION
Villas On The Beach is exactly what the name suggests, opening straight onto the silky white sands of the Bajan West Coast, so you can step straight in and wiggle your sandy toes. (Note: the occasional auto-generated VRBO label “2 min drive to beach” is wrong - that’s their closest category, but our building is ON the beach, there are no roads involved!)

If the warm, crystal ocean doesn’t float your boat, there are also two communal pools for you to make a splash.
The penthouse is in the centre of Holetown, a convenient 35 minute drive (or taxi ride) from the airport, with everything you might need within walking distance; many high quality restaurants, bars and a buzzing nightlife, supermarkets, a state-of-the-art duty-free shopping centre, and a doctor’s surgery, pharmacy and medical centre. If you fancy taking a swing, there are three world-renowned golf courses a short drive away; Sandy Lane, Apes Hill and Royal Westmoreland.

PENTHOUSE APARTMENT
Once inside, you can relax in a royal fashion: the interior has been newly redecorated to reflect the high-end design expected of Barbados’ famous “Platinum” west coast. With the highest quality furnishings and elegant blend of contemporary and traditional decor, The View oozes style as well as comfort. Three of the four stunning bedrooms boast magnificent sea views, and all bedrooms and the living area are equipped with air conditioning to keep you cool throughout those gorgeous sunny days. Wifi is available throughout, so you can always stay connected. All premium sports (including Sky Sports and Sky Movies/Cinema), news and children's channels are available on the 42" LCD TV. The kitchen has an oven/hob and microwave, along with a side by side fridge freezer, wine cooler, dishwasher, oversized washing machine/tumble dryer, to make your holiday even easier.
Put your feet up as our housemaid, Shereene, helps out with cleaning and laundry six days a week. If you would like some meals prepared for you, Shereene will prepare/cook one meal per day - her specialities include Grilled Catch of the Day, Chicken Curry, Lasagne, Rottis, Spaghetti Bolognese and more..(YOU BUY THE FOOD AND SHEREENE COOKS IT)! Most guests choose to eat in some nights and go out on others.

We had the most incredible stay at The View. The apartment is beautiful with breathtaking views. The location is perfect; restaurants, shopping and water sports all on the doorstep. Tides restaurant an absolute must! We look forward to our next trip.

Simply Amazing!
We couldn't have wished for a more perfect vacation. The villa is lovely and meticulously maintained by Shereene. Situated right on the beach, it offers breathtaking sunsets from every balcony. The grocery store is conveniently located across the street, and all the shops and restaurants in Holetown are within walking distance. The owner, Jonathan, was excellent to deal with, responding promptly to all my inquiries. John, the property manager, exceeded expectations to ensure our stay was flawless. Both Jonathan and John checked in on us during our stay to make sure everything was going well. We hope to return soon!

Girls trip
5 women (in our 70’s) travel often together. We went to Barbados in 2019 and loved it and wanted to go back. The location of the building in Holetown was great. Grocery store and Starbucks across the street. Tides restaurant next door was very good. The pool was fabulous. We sat on the balcony overlooking the beautiful blue ocean every morning with coffee and a glass of wine at night. The condo was great. My only recommendation would be to add grab bars in the tubs.

The property is incredible, the pictures of the interior are exactly as shown and the beautiful beach is literally steps away. The area is extremely convenient with shops, grocery, and restaurants close by. The restaurants are a little more expensive on this area but very convenient for your stay. The hosts were extremely responsive and the staff at the facility were very helpful. We stayed as a family of 8 with 2 small children and had more than enough space and privacy for everyone.

You couldn’t ask for a better location. Right on the beach. Across the street from a wonderful grocery store. Outstanding restaurants nearby. We used drivers as opposed to renting a car. Very safe location. The villa is bright and open. We found the stove and oven a bit confusing to operate. There were enough plates and utensils. Maybe I would update the pots and pans and the appliances. Other than that it is definitely a five star.

Luxury Villa with stunning views
Absolutely lovely villa with outstanding views. The location in Holetown is amazing. Grocery store is just across the road from the building with a Starbucks! Wonderful restaurants on each side of the building and many other options within a short walk. Would absolutely stay here again.

Walked away saying that was a really great stay!
What sets this property apart isn’t its incredibly good location, it isn’t the nice comfortable furnishings and isn’t even how well it is equipped. It is the owner and manager who are committed to ensuring your stay is totally enjoyable. Coming from Australia, our expectations may be a tad different. When we advised management of a slight misalignment with expectations they jumped into action and had everything aligned very quickly. This was not only impressive but greatly appreciated and made our stay very pleasant. Thank you Jonathan and John, it’s a really great property indeed but the management is even better :-)

It’s not often what is advertised is actually the reality of the property. Everything that was described, including the pictures is spot on. The view is absolutely beautiful. Eating on the open air porch was just wonderful. The market and restaurants are walking distance. It is the best vacation property rental ever.

Just perfect; location, views, our wonderful housekeeper Shereen & of course Barbados ❤️❤️ Jonathon the owner & John the manager we’re both so helpful & Shereen makes the whole experience more hotel like, in that when you arrive back from a morning out, all the beds are made, bathrooms are clean. Paradise!
What a fantastic property! From the first moment we were greeted by John with rum punches and answered any questions we had. And it only got better! What a location and an absolutely beautiful villa. It is RIGHT on the beach. The villa was clean and spacious. Each morning we woke up excited to have another day to spend there. We were spoiled to have Shereene meet our every need. She was exceptional! Her kindness will not be forgotten. The location of the villa cannot be beat. ON the beach, next door to the market, restaurants and coffee shops within walking. The only thing that would make this better is a return trip!

Best Family Vacation
The property is lovely and as described in the listing. It worked well for our family of 9. Shereen is a delight and John was so accommodating with our late arrivals due to airline delays. The beach was our favorite spot and all the better having a bar right next door to get a rum punch while you float in the most beautiful, clear water I’ve ever seen. Great location for groceries and restaurants. We didn’t want to leave beautiful Barbados.

The location is exceptional. You only need a car if you are venturing outside of Holetown. You can walk to the grocery and most restaurants. The penthouse is well kept, comfortable beds, well laid out with awesome views.

The apartment has an unrivalled position in Holetown, a beautiful beach just a few yards from the property, the shops and restaurants are all just a short stroll away. The taxi rank is also Oposite the building for those wishing to visit Mullins or Sandy lane in the other direction. * all very well presented Jonathan.

This was an amazing vacation. The views are stunning, easy access to the pool and beach.

Highly recommended property & location
My family could not ask for anything better for our vacation in Barbados. The property owner was easily accessible and stayed in touch and Shereene the housekeeper was welcoming and made sure that our needs were met. The property is beautiful and in a perfect location. We did not need to rent a car since everything was within walking distance. We had many choices of restaurants/ eating. Besides swimming the kids enjoyed the many activities available on the beach including jet skiing, boating and swimming with turtles. I highly recommend this property and definitely plan on returning again.

Christmas Week 2019!
Just returned from a fantastic time at Villas on the Beach - really enjoyed ourselves. The view, layout, en-suite baths, open plan with decks, common pool, beach and easy access to Massey’s Market, restaurants, shops and tennis court made it SO convenient. Also talked to a number of lovely people who were staying at Villas on the Beach. Shereene was fantastic. Loved her cooking and how helpful she was with cleaning and laundry plus she’s a sweetheart. We didn’t see much of Simon but he’s well organized, a wonderful source of info stays on top of the details. They both took excellent care of us! We enjoyed lunch at Round House and seeing the East Coast, the North Point Cave, St. Nicholas Abby, and sailing with Jason O’Neal and swimming with sea turtles. On the way to North Point we visited my in-law’s former housekeeper, Judy in St. Lucy - a treat to see her. There's something for everyone at The View - each day was an adventure my entire family loved! Thank you Jonathan for sharing your lovely home with us!
