We had booked the suite as a family of five, but she only provided 4 pillows, 2 blankets & 4 towels…no hand towels, face cloths or kitchen linens. When we asked for an extra pillow & blanket for the 5th person, she agreed, but said for a fee. There were ants everywhere. They used outdoor spray, which helped for about 2 hours, but contaminated our countertop. The unit came with a washer, dryer & detergent. What we got was an all in one unit, which worked intermittently without any detergent until we demanded it. She constantly had her workers up, trying to fix things to no resolve. We were then asked to dry everything on the balcony, but ended up losing clothes due to the wind despite trying to protect them. The TV didn’t work for most of our stay. The air conditioner could not be regulated. It was either too hot or too cold. In order to get up the elevator, you had to locate her “staff”. She said that they were having card issues, but no one seemed to have issues except for her tenants, one of which we met on the elevator. She offered us a taxi service from the airport, but ultimately ended up charging us 3 times the fare. At the end of the day, we tolerated the unit because it was in a good location surrounded by everything we needed and it is difficult to change accommodations mid stay. However, dealing with our host was a struggle, which really impacted the quality of our visit. We decided after the third day to let it go so we could salvage our time in Ho Chi Minh.
