'We needed an overnight bed and breakfast option after attending a wedding at nearby Farnham Castle. Dawyk Beech fitted the bill perfectly and was less expensive than an overnight at the castle. Our en suite room was a very generous size overlooking the lovely garden with a comfortable king bed. We needed to check in before the official time of 4.30 to get changed for the wedding and wouldn't be back at the guesthouse until after midnight. I called ahead of our stay to confirm this was OK and...

'Friendly host, warm and cozy cottage atmosphere out on the country - very private and quiet too. The room was so nicely appointed and we loved the sound of the babbling stream outside. The bathroom was large and bright and had a big bathtub. Everything was so clean and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent and cooked to order each day. A wonderful spot away from the madding crowds but so close to so many beautiful places. '

'Goed verblijf gehad. Derde bed in de kamer is slaapbank waar je niet te veel nachten op moet willen slapen. Ook zitten op de bank is niet echt aangenaam. Heerlijke douche (in bad). Wel jammer dat de vele spinnenwebben in de kamer ondanks herhaalde opmerkingen niet werden verwijderd. '

Apart from one waiter at breakfast being a bit rude giving me the check without telling me no need to rush then saying goodbye to me in a kind of miserable way all staff delivered exceptional service. I would highly recommend it to people and will go back one day for sure.'

'The reception/bar/breakfast room staff was very helpful. It is a little bit in the middle of nowhere, but a taxi ride of 15 min was worth the location/staff. Only bar can be opened longer!'
