The whole family will enjoy staying at this bright, newly-renovated, ground-level condo overlooking a lagoon and a nearby golf course in the Shipyard Plantation. While the living room is a comfortable place to kick back, relax, and watch TV together, this vacation rental also features a full kitchen, a dining area, a built-in desk, and a furnished, covered patio. Guests of this condo will also have access to shared, lighted tennis courts and a seasonal, outdoor pool, when it's time to cool off or get a little extra exercise in.

Shipyard Plantation is an elite resort community with a charming coastal atmosphere on the south end of Hilton Head Island. The 803-acre gated plantation boasts a 27 hole championship golf course at Shipyard Golf Club, and Van Der Meer Shipyard Racquet Club, one of the top 50 tennis resorts in the country. Relaxing comes naturally on the beach at Shipyard Beach Club and if you're feeling adventurous, take a scenic stroll or bike ride down the winding trails. You'll also find yourself within walking distance to the heart of Hilton Head Island, Coligny Plaza.

Nice Fall Visit to HHI

Evian 232 is a very nice condo, especially for a couple. Peaceful and quiet, with views of the golf course and pond, the property is quite comfortable. The open floor plan gives good lighting and outdoor views from the kitchen and living room area. Well outfitted with the basics. Decor is thematic without being overly "beachy."

HHI Family Time

We have visited HHI many times and this was our first time staying at The Shipyard. The condo was very spacious and comfortable. We loved the location to the beach, pool, restaurants & local attractions. We found the furniture to be comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The only issue was with the blinds where apparent miss use over time has caused them not to work properly. My husband loved having a green in the background. We did witness an alligator probably 8 feet long walk out of the lagoon in the backyard and across the cart path & into the woods. So, please be cautious if you have dogs around the water in the backyard. We always rent a boat, (with a captain) from Outside Hilton Head Boat & Kayak Tours. They have 3 or 4 hour options to water ski, tube and wakeboard. We also drove over to Bluffton & Savannah both short drives and worth the trip. Another must is The Bank Beer Garden. It’s new and family friendly for all ages. We had a great time and will definitely be back!

Great location and layout

First the good! We liked the location very much and the rental layout was very nice. The master bed was comfortable. The living room sofa and loveseat not very comfortable so I used one of the patio chairs when sitting in the living room. Toaster not working properly and I sent a message to the manager and got no response. We rented for two weeks and only 3 rolls of toilet paper! Just came from a time share the week before and they left us with 9 rolls of toilet paper for one week of rental. The most annoying part of our two weeks was that this unit is a first floor apartment with a rental above us! Heavy walkers and noisy at times, even after 10pm. We have rented on HHI Several times and never had occupants above us. The worst part is that when we first arrived I considered renting again for next year but that changed when I saw that the price for the same time next year increased by $1,307 an over 30% increase! Spring Break

Very nice property! Perfect for a week stay in Hilton Head Island with a family of 4! Very close and convenient to everything we wanted to do especially the beach! We appreciate the property management being in contact with us prior, during and after our stay. The property had plenty of linens, towels, dishes, pots/pans etc. The only thing I would recommend is a deep cleaning of the property and none of the door blinds worked so we never opened them.

Amazing Condo

We vacation on HHI 4 times a year and this is by far the best condo we’ve stayed at. It has an open floor plan and lots of cupboard space. It was completely furnished with all the things you would need to cook. The master bath was big and had a very nice shower. The view from the bedroom and the dining room was amazing. You can see the tee box for the 8 hole for one of the shipyard golf courses and the putting green for the 7th hole. We saw lots of wildlife outside. The grill was nice and big. This unit has a huge TV in the living room. A bit of a walk to the pool but doable and about a 7 minute walk to the beach.

This is our second time in the unit. We bring our own beach gear and wagon. It's 3/4 mile walk to the beach. Alternatively you can rent chairs and umbrellas at the resort.

Beautiful villa, comfortable and convenient

We were able to book a last-minute 2-night stay at this property, and we wished we were able to stay longer! The villa is beautifully decorated, clean, and well-stocked. We were able to access the beach by a quick drive (a beach parking pass was included) or easy bike ride. We will definitely look into a longer stay here in the future!

Overall a good stay

We really liked the house, it was clean and nicely equipped. We had one issue, the twin sized bed in the second bedroom was very uncomfortable. I had read something similar in a review done back in 2018, and had hoped this would be taken care of. It was not. Also, I sent a message to Vacasa asking about that issue and never heard back from them on that. However, Vacasa was good about sending updates as our vacation time came closer, with entry codes, etc. It was our first visit to Hilton Head and this property was a wonderful addition to our experience.

The location in Shipyard is private and gorgeous. 2 minute bike ride to the beach. Lots of animals to watch on the property. The backyard view from the unit was awesome. The beds were comfy and the condo had everything we needed. My kids all agreed we must stay here again!

This was a great rental! HHI had a lot of fun opportunities for the teens like the tennis courts. The adults enjoyed the beach access and tons of restaurants. The property was clean, spacious and accessible to most everything.

Lovely home - neat and clean and well equipped for a comfortable stay- wish there were some amentities like spices available in the kitchen- dryer needed to be run twice to dry clothes. Overall it was wonderful!
