It was a really adorable place. I

I was a little disappointed that there wasn't any beach chairs, towels or anything beach related for use, as we flew in.Also, there was no Wi-Fi, which may matter ti other guests but for a short stay we survived.

UNFORTUNATE

This condo is sub par to the overall quality of the majority of condos in the highly sought after Palmetto Dunes Resort Plantation. The owner is either unaware of the condition of the condo or doesnt care. There is a terrible mold and musty odor , which is probably due to the terrible condition of the carpets. The furniture is very dated and worn. The outdoor grill need to be replaced , the blinds over the slider doors don't cover the windows. I couldn't recommend this condo.

Good price good location

Spacious condo that is a short walk from the beach. AC wasn't working upstairs when we checked in but by the time we came back from the beach they had already had it fixed. Unfortunately we had to leave early but we still enjoyed our stay.

Renter Beware

This is the second time I’ve rented from Vacasa in Palmetto Dunes. The first was good. This rental was not good. The place smelled very musty and that didn’t go away. At bedtime we realized the top sheets/covers were stained and dirty. The next morning I found there was no TP in the common area bathroom and even worse there were dried urine drops on the toilet lid. I called the company and was told cleaning would take place asap, but no one had come by 2PM. I called again and Larry told me housekeeping would come while we were out to dinner. They NEVER came. While talking to Larry I realized the back sliding door wouldn’t lock and we couldn’t figure out the tv - there were FIVE remotes!

Perfect Vacation Spot

This property was perfect for two couples who enjoy the beach. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the evenings and watching the sunset. It was equipped for everything we needed. The location is in the center of all activities.

Great location but the property is old and needs to be updated. New stove and microwave, but mostly everything else was old and decor was outdated. Good supplies, but missing knives, no strainer, storage containers, no pantry for food storage (all of the cabinets were full with dishes). Walk to the beach is about 10 mins and very easy. Unfortunately the beach storage closet had a ton of boogie boards, but no beach buggy so bring your own. The outdoor spaces are not really amenable to sitting outside. There is an extra full bathroom that was unexpected on the first floor that was a nice, unexpected bonus. Unlikely I would choose to stay here again.

Nice stay

The condo has a very good location. Easy walk to the beach. The place was very clean and well equipped for a rental. Ideal for a four person golf trip or a family of four. 3 full baths is a hug plus. The decor is dated but everything is in good shape. The beds were not the most comfortable and parking might be tough for more than one car. I will stay here on our next HHI trip without a doubt.

Great family get away! Property location was perfect for riding bikes to beach and the General Store ( best fried chicken!). A bit dated but clean and ample space. The back outdoor area could be cleaned up a bit to make it more user friendly but overall great vacation! Already planning on returning!

HHI Getaway

We had a great time in HHI. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place. The property is a little dated and needed some touch-ups in the downstairs bedroom. We would definitely stay here again.

This condo was plenty adequate and accurately depicted on the listing. Property management communications were very good. Very few of the condos still have tennis court fees included, so if tennis or pickleball are part of your plans then this is a very nice feature. We would stay here again.

Celebrating July 4th on HHI

We had a great vacation experience and would rent again. The condo is a little dated but was very clean and in a great location. Hickory Cove was very quite and secluded yet still close to everything. We had teen and adult children and grandchildren with us and the vila was a very short walk/bike ride to the beach. We enjoyed being on the 18th fairway and saw deer out in the evening. The deck is spacious with a gas and charcoal grill to use. Its a short bike ride to the General Store for breakfast (My husband and I had breakfast at the store several mornings while the kids slept) ice cream or other needs and very close to the tennis courts. The kitchen was well stocked for our needs but we did take and extra baking sheet and it was needed for what we cooked during the week. The kitchen is in need of a few upgrades but it didnt stop us from enjoying our week. The oven cooked very slow and needs the heating element checked. Other than these minor details our stay was relaxing and a perfect stay with our family! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

The location is great! We had a wonderful time. The property needs updates and repairs, but it was clean and the price was right! We would stay here again! The house gets hit with golf balls multiple times a day!

Good location! Close to shops and beach.

The location is good, close to beach and shops. The management is easy to reach. The apartment is a little bit old but clean. The major complaint is the kitchen: The kitchen appliances are little bit old. The pots are scratched. They forgot to provide the coffee filter and cutting board.
