Couple’s Retreat – Romantic Penthouse Villa Across the Street from the Beach

Gutted and thoroughly renovated, this villa is an adults-only 2 bedroom, 2 bath, 2 story top-floor 1090 sq. ft. penthouse with W/D, WiFi, 2 TV's, pool, tennis courts, and underground parking. It's across the street from the beach and across the street from Coligny Plaza shopping and restaurants. Also, the new Lowcountry Celebration Park is directly behind the complex. Upstairs, there are sliding Shoji doors that allow the king-sized bedroom to be completely closed off from the other upstairs living area / bedroom in case someone wants to "sleep in". There are two full bathrooms, one upstairs and one down. The villa is completely furnished like a home, including everything that's needed for cooking full meals.

The bike trail network runs directly in front of the complex, and during much of the year, the Trolley and local golf cart transportation services are active with stops very nearby. Having a car is recommended so that you can experience all of HHI, but it's not required. Bikes can be rented from any number of on-line companies or in-person. All of them deliver.

We were unable to adequately maintain beach equipment nor the cleanliness of the villa from the equipment traffic, so none is available in the unit. A good option for "beach sitters" is to rent from The Beach Patrol for the whole stay just after arriving (or via shorebeach.com in advance).

Deze villa bevindt zich in South Forest Beach, een wijk in Hilton Head, en ligt aan het water. Shelter Cove Harbour en Palmetto Dunes Club zijn enkele plekken die je niet mag overslaan als je iets actiefs wilt doen. Als je liever de natuur intrekt, kan dat bij Coligny Beach en North Beach. Great location and accommodations
We loved everything about this vacation. Happily surprised at the proximity of the property to beach access/shopping/great restaurants,etc. Short walk to the beach- able to catch a couple of beautiful sunrises. The property itself was immaculately clean, so thoughtfully decorated and extremely comfortable. Communication was excellent and directions for all things needed clear. We would definitely choose to stay here again when back to Hilton Head. Thanks to the owners for making their home available!

We really enjoyed our return to L'Auvent and it was even better the second time which is hard to believe.Super clean and sophisticated. Excellent communication as always. Hopefully we will be returning soon as we love this place and this town. Southern coney for pancakes, Nectar chicken waffles, Relish Mongolian beef and wonton soup all an easy bike ride away. not to mention the beach and Coligny shopping a block away. 5+ star stay.

When I booked this stay, I was actually scared that it was too good to be true. I’ll assure that this villa is everything that you’ll expect and more. It is very clean, well decorated, spacious, stocked with essentials, and just overall peaceful and relaxing. Best of all, the owner communicated everything that we needed to know about the villa and surrounding area very well. I really enjoyed staying here and hope to return the next time I’m on Hilton Head Island

Great location
We stayed at Van’s condo while in town fo a wedding. He is an amazing host, you couldn’t ask for more! The condo is in a great location overlooking a park and an easy walk to Coligny Plaza which is filled with restaurants. We will definitely stay here again!

Although there was no view of the ocean, as we thought, the location was fantastic and extremely clean. The beach was directly across the street and everything you needed, stores, restaurants, etc. was a very short trip away. It was a very enjoyable get away. The owners had all the info you needed for the property in a communication manual.

Great location, beautiful condo and excellent host. We really enjoyed our stay. The worst part was we had to eventually leave. We frequent Hilton Head a couple times a year and this was probably our best stay. Hopefully we will be returning to L'Auvent soon.
