The location is great! We walked to dinner and shopping, and we loved that! The beach access and pool area were also top notch! Check in and check out was very easy. The condo needs some attention to minor details. The curtain rod and a couple bathroom rods were falling out of the wall. Maintenance did come and fix them. There were stains on the couch decorative pillowS and the carpet needs replaced.

Fantastic Mom’s Weekend!

This is our 3rd time staying at this property. We love the location, it’s super easy to get to shops and restaurants, the beach is right there and the pool and hot tub are great. The condo itself is big and spacious. The host communicated great through text, which I prefer. The kitchen is well equipped. We had a fantastic time! We will definitely be back!

The condo location was great!! Beautiful oceanfront views. The pool was wonderful. The layout of the condo and furnishings were very nice. The only problem we had was that the elevator was under construction and not working the whole time we were there.And we were on the 4th floor!! So 7 sets of steps were not pleasant moving in and on a daily basis several times a day.. which made it hard for some of my family members with back, knee and hips issues.. Some kind of adjustment would be appreciated with the amount that was paid. We were in unit 412.. Thank you!

Comfortable Space and Perfect Location

This was a very comfortable place to stay. As a multi-generational family of 9, we had room to gather together and spread out. The location was perfect. We walked for lunch and ice cream and had a short drive for dinner. The view of the beach and pool was perfect. We were very pleased with our experience.

Perfect for families!

The location of this condo was absolutely perfect! Front row views of the pool and beach, right next to Coligny beach and plaza. We were at the most 20 min from all of the dining ppaces we tried all of the island. The only very minor thing that was difficult for us was figuring the tvs out. It seemed the buttons didnt work for some things and we werent able to log into our streaming services. We ended up using our Roku stick. Other than that, perfect place and we cant wait to come back!

Hilton Head Island Vacation

My husband & I booked this trip for my parents & I, my parents came from Virginia, my hubs & I from Oregon. The property and condo were clean. The corner unit is nice, you get oceanfront views and the pool views. Huge downfall, the pool was closed almost our whole stay do you reconverting, we wouldn’t have booked this place had we known the pool wouldn’t be available. Great location to all things beach and Hilton Head. The property management gave us free bike rentals for the days the pool was closed. We were on the 4th floor and on Tuesday started hearing what sounded like chiseling tiles above. Then Thursday the chiseling turned into drilling the floors, starting at 8:30 am waking everyone in our 3 bedroom condo up. It was so loud we couldn’t hear each other talk. Kinda ruin the trip… the management refunded us 2 nights.

Location!!!

Location was perfect! Views were outstanding. Condo, was clean however very outdated and could use a little work for the money. There was plenty of parking, but if you had more than two cars they were not able to accommodate you; we had two daughters join us from different states and needed three parking passes and they wouldn’t budge… bring your own washcloths and trash bags! Overall I would stay there again because no where is perfect and it was a lovely place! Staff was quick to respond and provide necessary items.

Family vacation

The resort was outstanding, close to everything and the beach. Now the room had an excellent view of the pool and beach. It was very outdated by at least 10-15 years on everything and especially the mirrored wall in the dining area. Really disappointing for the money we spent the owner has not taken more pride in what could be an outstanding experience for everyone to enjoy!

Beautiful Vacation

The Shorewood complex is well maintained and very clean. The condo needs updating. More importantly, the condo should replace the very old appliances. The fridge was not cooling and leaked water on our food, a repair person came and unclogged a drain. We kept bags of ice in the fridge all week. When we checked out there was more water in the crisper bins and on food. We did not use the clothes dryer due to the rusted section on the inside of the door. The management has been advised of these things. The view from the balcony overlooking the beach is fantastic. Previously we stayed at a different condo at Shorewood. It is a lovely complex.

Great proximity and views!

We very much enjoyed staying here! The view is lovely, the convenience to all things Hilton head is fantastic and the walk to the beach is super simple. The pool was nice as well. This particular property could use some updating to the kitchen and the bathrooms but all in all quite a great value! We would stay here again.

Good location, dated rental

We had great views, great pool, great beach, but the condo was very dated. This was not a surprise, as the reviews we read over the past few years all stated the same thing. We needed a 3 bedroom, so we rented anyway. The furnishings, washer, dryer, entire kitchen and all three bathrooms were old and in need of updating. We had rented 4 different condos at this complex, 3 of the 4 were updated and current, ours was not.

Would ABSOLUTELY return!

I visited this property in April 2021 with my husband and three kids (6, 6, 8). The location is perfect - the proximity to Coligny Plaza is great, and the pool and beach are footsteps away. The view from the balcony was great and I really enjoyed sitting there in the early morning and at night. The condo itself is clean, and while it's not the most up to date it has absolutely everything you would need. We weren't in the condo much so that wasn't a huge priority. I would absolutely stay here again!

Steps away from shops and restaurants.

The location was perfect, very close to the beach and shopping. Beach access excellent as was parking and keyless entry. Hot tub warm and accommodating but heated pool was cold and uninviting. Lost 30 minutes at start of our vacation due to keyless code not working properly. Rental company should verify access well before renters arrive - very inconvenient. We were greeted the first morning of our stay with a construction crew in the condo above us scraping and banging at 7:30am. Rental company very rude telling us they have no control over noise, check contract, and will try to contract building manager. We never heard back from the mtg company about the noise - had to deal with the construction for the next morning at 7:30am too. If we would have been informed of building construction, we would have rented somewhere else. Rental unit had basics but needs updating and maintenance work. Back bedroom window did not close properly allowing whistling wind blowing through the crack all night - very disturbing to say the least. Toaster caught fire the first morning we used it, luckily there was another one available. TVs had no instructions for remote usage and required a significant amount of time to figure out how to access cable network - need to add instructions for renters. Beds were comfortable but back bedroom squeaked quite a bit. We really loved the location but will definitely look for a different unit in the future. Suggest rental company be more transparent with building construction activities and inform renters of expected construction dates and disruptions. Thank you!

This condo is good for a family getaway. The bunk room is perfect for our grandkids. Always clean and ready for us. Could use some updating, but that’s purely a cosmetic issue.

Villa is nice. Check in is great esp after a 15 hr drive. Easy combination lock is great. Feels safe. Great walking distance for shopping and dining 🌴 Would like to offer Advice if you want to keep charging $3000 per week and get referrals: -Needs dining room chairs with padding. Most chairs were Very uncomfortable -Clean bugs from windowsills -Spray for fruit flies! It took 3 days for the bug guy to help us! -light bulbs in dining room chandelier were some yellow AND some white. Super weird -dining room light had cobwebs. Gross when you eat there!! - was surprised to have no ceiling fans -balcony is nice, too many chairs stuck out there to be able to sit. We stacked to unclutter -KITCHEN! There for a week with family. I’m a cook. No containers with tops for storing food. No casseroles with lids for cooking. No large serving dishes for family style dinners. No light in the kitchen over the sink that’s in a dark corner. VERY outdated kitchen. We always pay $3000+ for a week... expect nicer kitchen for family living. Those are suggestions to give to the owner. I’ve owned timeshares & rented out condos. People want their vacations special. Be special!! Nice safe location. We had good weather til the last day. Nice week.

Views and location but disappointing unit

Great views, wonderful location. Very disappointed with the shape of the unit. Very old interior, rusted sliding glass door that wouldn’t lock well due to the rust, even the interior door hinges were rust , chipped baseboards throughout. The bathroom mats were dirty and old. There were 8 hangers in the closets and they were all different. Looked like a cheap motel instead of expensive beach front condo. A 24 pack of plastic hangers would be less than $5 at Walmart, would match and be enough for 6 people to have hanging clothes for the week. The kitchen was old. I wasn’t looking for modern - just clean. The cabinets must be original to the unit 30 years old. The cabinet bottoms were exposed, cracked and dirty. Even if cabinets can’t be replaced throw down some shelf liner. Visible crumbs in multiple cabinets. Blender smelled of mildew. Dishes were dirty. The kitchen sponge smelled of mildew and could be smelled several feet away. Dish detergent was not provided. 2 rolls of small toilet paper were provided. We have never had to buy toilet paper in Hilton head while staying at other condos. Multiple light bulbs were burnt out. Numerous electrical outlets were loose from the wall and would come off the wall if you unplugged from it. The TVs would not work. No instructions left on how to operate. There was 7 remotes and we didn’t know how to use them. Called cable and they helped some. The second king bedroom and the bunk bed bedroom has terrible internet reception. The light switch in the second king bedroom would turn on the tv. Then a few minutes into it the cable connection would stop. Sometimes it would come back on then after a few moments go back off. We couldn’t stream anything from the laptop in that bedroom either bc of the internet connection. Very frustrating. The mattresses in the bunk beds should not even be considered mattresses. Very thin and old. Dead bugs in the window. We did not enjoy our time in the condo except for the balcony. Again that part was nice and the view was beautiful. The pool was great but many table and chairs were saved even though families were down at the beach. There were signs posted that stated you must be at the pool to save chairs but it did not help. Workers came to clean up the property and do landscaping. They would take the good parking places close by the units. We may return to the resort but will not rent this unit again. Too many others out there.

Love this place

The perfect location. Steps to the pool and beach! Beautiful View throughout this condo. Great bed set up with plenty of room to spread out! Will definitely be back.
