The vrbo is in a multi-unit housing property on the edge of a commercial and industrial neighborhood. The unit is basic and functional. It is two rooms plus a bath. There is no place to sit except the kitchen. It is an OK place to stay if your travel includes a lot of out and about. It's near the Hillsdale Post Office for those looking for more location information.
Comfortable, all I needed, cute little place. Wi-Fi was iffy but the bed was comfortable (creaky loud but comfy). The one thing I really missed was a comfortable chair for reading.
Well located place to stay if visiting Hillsdale College. Has all you need on a first floor address. Information says good for a couple, but the bed is a full, not queen. So like being close and a non-active sleeper!
The only issue that I had was the check-in procedure. I never received the code to get in the house. Once I did, I wasnât instructed on how to lock the door to leave. Nancy walked me through it. I suggested a sign on the inside to explain it.
It is old but clean and bed was cozy. If you need to get a hold of the property manager CALL don't message on the app if it the same day. She is very responsive to phone calls.
This place was cozy! Itâs 3 blocks from Hillsdale College campus so it was so much better than driving back and forth to Jackson. I would certainly stay again!
I've stayed at this little apartment before, and it's location and easiness of parking (right outside the entry door), makes it perfect for my occasional trips back to the college I attended. Nancy always leaves snacks, coffee, and water, which is a wonderful bonus. It's a good place to have when you know your vacation is going to be busy and you just need a bed to rest. There are kitchen chairs but there is no comfy chair to lounge.
Definitely would not be staying here again. It was clean but that's about it. A challenge to communicate with Nancy after several vm and emails were sent. The bed is small, maybe a full and mattress sags. No plug in bathroom. The rest of the tenants do not keep this property very nice on the outside. There's a broken down lawnmower in the yard, an array of broken bicycles on the porch and rusty unusable patio furniture on the porch. A real disappointment.
