'Great location on sea front, very nice staff and wonderful beeakfast!'

'We had a lovely last minute break at Chestnut luxury lodge with our dog. It was quiet and relaxing, spotless. Exceptional hospitality and communication from Billy and team, all the wonderful extras coffee pods & tea coffee box and cleaning essentials boxes were great. India loved her break and treats too and the warm welcome. The hot tub was amazing. The lodge was extremely comfortable with everything we needed. We also enjoyed the ice cream and waffles from the visiting catering van on the...

'It is a well-located and welcoming hotel, right by the sea. We heard from other guests that the hotel has recently been renovated. This seems to apply mainly to its appearance, as there are no new modern facilities. For exmample, we were initially a little surprised that there was no air conditioning in our room. That said, the staff and the location still made it a memorable experience. Here are a few useful things to know: * You can park for free behind the hotel, although it can get quite...

'The property was absolutely fine as a base. Easily walkable to the shops and the seafront. The parking is not great around the area. There is pay and display parking nearby but on-street parking was limited. The host replied quickly to any messages I sent and was helpful. The only negative I have is that the resident upstairs, above the property, was quite noisy when moving around in the night time.'

'Very friendly folks, very hospital, great place to stay, they realy mak you feel welcome. When in Eastbourne, please go there!'

'Lovely room, very clean, delightful hosts, great breakfast-I would stay again!!!!'

'We arrived before 10pm, but didn’t get the room we’ve booked. There were shower curtains for window curtains and the light and television wasn’t working (couldn’t watch the Euros…) The lady at reception couldn’t solve it and we tried contacting the accomodation but didn’t get any response. Do not recommend. '

'great experience - nice place - breakfast - etc … We received an upgrade to the room Alice ? - which was a very very nice room. it's worth the 10 `£ extra '

'Prachtige locatie en zeer goed vers ontbijt ´s morgens.'

'Lovely old inn with well appointed clean rooms. Had evening meal which was excellent. Breakfast was also well cooked and delicious. It had a lovely ambience.'

'Zeer fijn kleinschalig hotel op wandelafstand van de pier en stadscentrum. Opstaan en ontbijten met schitterend zeezicht maakt ronde vakantie compleet. '

'Wonderful stay. Clean and with all the amenities you need. Great location. Privacy. Lovely pub with great food, super friendly. Had a small issue so we called Jonny who answered on the 2nd ring, talked us through the solution, and then gave us some tips on things to do. Great service. Highly recommend and we’ll be back in the autumn.'

'Zeer vriendelijke eigenaar en heel charmant gebouw. Goede keuze om Eastbourne te bezoeken, dicht bij alles maar toch rustig . Prijs kwaliteit is goed! '
