Great Smoky Mountain Creekside Cabin

Escape to this cozy, creekside cabin and leave your worries behind on your relaxing getaway. Enjoy your coffee while listening to the sweet sounds the rushing waters of the creek from the sprawling front porch. Nestled in the Upper Cartoogechaye River valley, this peaceful log cabin feels secluded, but is only a short ride to town to pick up supplies. Spend your days being lazy by the creek or explore the Nantahala National Forest only a few miles down the road.

The main level offers master style bedroom with a luxurious King size bed and full bathroom en suite with tub shower combo. The second bedroom is as cozy as the master with a comfy Queen bed and a full bathroom right outside it's door. Accessible by ladder, is the cozy loft with 2 single beds.
Open the door, breath the mountain air and listen to the sounds of the creek through the screen door. A fully stocked kitchen affords you all the luxuries of home or step outside and fire up the Weber charcoal grill. A remote start gas fire place will keep you warm on those cool mountain evenings. There is also an outdoor fire pit to enjoy roasting marshmallows and great conversation. Creekside Cabin offers 55 inch HD TV and wifi for those looking to stay connected.
Once you arrive at this charming cabin in the woods you will never want to leave!

We provide linens, dish soap, detergent, and toilet paper. You will need to bring your own charcoal and firewood for the outdoor fire pits.

All renters of Creekside Cabin will agree to release the property and it's owners form any and all liability associated with any personal loss or injury occurring at or near the above property. Cell phone service is spotty but there is a land line and wifi for outside communications.

It was a beautiful cabin in a beautiful area. It was difficult for our vehicle to make the driveway though and it absolutely would have been impossible in ice or snow. We had one problem while we were there and it was immediately taken care of.

Fishing Trip

We loved being in the woods and in the mountains. My boyfriend absolutely loves the country out there he loves the mom and pop restaurants we loved everything about it had a wonderful time while we were there to visit and site see all the waterfalls. So beautiful if you love the country, mountains, site seeing/hiking, country cooking, mom and pop shops and somewhere with no service this is the perfect place!!!

This was our second summer spending a week at this wonderful property. We enjoyed spending every afternoon in the creek and dining on the back porch. Absolutely lovely few days in the mountains. Property was well stocked, comfortable, adorable and peaceful. We spent many hours by the creek and our daughter loved the loft. Hosts were responsive and check in was easy. We look forward to staying here again.

Excellent Family Relaxation!

The cabin was immaculate, spacious, tastefully decorated, cozy, and thoughtfully equipped. The beds were extraordinarily comfortable, lots of cozy seating inside and out on the amazing porch, which was our favorite hang-out. Our teenage boys spent time reuniting with each other at the fire pit every night. The stream was cool and shady, and such an amazing sound of relaxation.

Perfect family get away!

A GREAT TIME was had by all at Creekside! …

Everything about the cabin and our week-long stay was TOP-NOTCH … starting with the close proximity to Franklin and the obvious fact that the property is well-cared for and well maintained … factors such as the cleanliness, the comfort of the beds, the wonderful private secluded view from the expansive back porch on which we spent a lot of time enjoying our morning coffee listening to the sound of the creek as well as the generous supply of dry firewood and extras of household supplies like towels, washcloths, cookware, soaps and toiletries were all obvious efforts indicating that the owners very much wanted to make their guests feel comfortable and happy to be in their space! They were quite successful! Thank you Hannah and Lance!
