'Afgeleefd hotel, eten was absoluut niet lekker.'

'Je hebt eetgelegenheden in de buurt, makkelijk bereikbaar. Voor een paar nachten zeker oké om te verblijven. '

'Staff were excellent. Very nice outside area to eat in summer ! You must book in advance. (We didn't unfortunately) Meal was excellent and good breakfast the next day. Ample parking.'

'Mooie schone kamer. Vriendelijk én behulpzame medewerkers. Gewoon goed ontbijt. Airconditioning hebben we niet nodig gehad.'

'Hotel is ok. Gezellig. Maar heel oud. Overal is oud, kan verbeteren. Maar ok. Goedkoop hotel. Eendagje slapen en weg rijden ideal. Personeel eerlijk goed, vriendelijk, behulpzaam.'

'Prachtig hotel, mooie locatie, goed ontbijt en diner '

'very friendly and welcoming reception'

'The staff were very helpful, the room clean and the bed comfortable.'

'Breakfast was good and the lady tending it was very sweet. Front desk staff was very rude. Pretty bad first impression. Also — really looking forward to the hot tub and but again front desk staff had no idea what I was talking about despite it being listed as an amenity on the website. Kinda rots after a long hike on Hadrians wall. Carpeting throughout was old, outdated, and very grungie. Overall, very mid.'

'We only stayed for one night so didn’t bother to ask for an upgrade, but I think you should. We stayed in a not yet renovated room and it was definitely not worth the money. It felt more like a run down youth hostel than a 3 star hotel. Bar and restaurant area are updated and that looks promising for the rest of hotel. Would only return if I knew rooms are renovated.'

'Kamer was prima, personeel goed maar de Wifi doet het niet in de kamer waardooor je naar de bar moet om te werken. Locatie meer geschikt en bedoeld voor bruoiloften en recepteis, niet zo zeer voor zakelijke reiziger op doorreis. Wel lekker rustig '

'Great parking. We didn’t realise when we booked that the pub would shut at 8 pm on the Sunday which was disappointing but they gave us a key to enter the building and to come and go as we wanted. The bedroom was comfortable and the breakfast was very nice.'

'We had a great stay. Our hosts were fantastic!'

'A very clean and well equipped room - limited parking but perfectly adequate - disappointing lack of breakfast - rice crispies and cormflakes don't do it! Very good dinner and bar facilities'

'Beautiful, fairy tales behind stay. The breakfast and evening meals were less good. There was also no possibility to eat in the village.Luckily the cook was kind enough to make a steak sandwich for us for the lunch. The staff were very helpful.'

'Excellent staff and stay.'

'Rust in een landelijke omgeving en verzorgd door goed personeel in een net hotel'
