  • Gelieve CC me uw verzoek via e-mail omdat ik niet altijd krijgen nitified van een verzoek van deze site (vooral als je onmiddellijke reactie nodig hebt). KOM IN, haal diep adem en trek een lekkere stoel op het dek kijkt uit de meest serene MEER IN Westelijk Noord-Carolina (mijn mening), en genieten van uw favoriete drankje.

    LET OP: Als u Google Earth het adres van het huis, zal het meer te zien zijn als 2/3 leeg. 2 jaar geleden hadden we een scheur in de dam en moest het meer om het te repareren legen. Het gebeurde gewoon om de tijd Google nam de foto !!! Ik beloof, is er voldoende water in het meer!

    GEEN Polyester in deze bladen! Breng uw tandenborstel en een verandering van kleren en ben je helemaal klaar. VERGETEN SHAMPOO? HET IS HIER. VERGAT je scheermes? HET IS HIER. VERGAT UW GOLFCLUBS? Kan u niet helpen, sorry.

    GOLF !!!!!! Drie prachtige golfbanen binnen 3-5 minuten van het huis. Watervallen, tennis, wandelen, slangen, fietsen en meer. ONE State Park en ONE NATIONALE BOS binnen 15 minuten van het huis!

    Dit huis is 15 minuten van het schilderachtige centrum HENDERSONVILLE EN BREVARD (MUSIC CENTER). Een uur van GREENVILLE en een uur van Hooglanden.

    Vergeet niet, dit IS EEN MEER HUIS, NIET het Biltmore. ALS JE WILT marmer, graniet, en Venetiaanse GIPS, bent u in de VERKEERDE nek van het bos, LETTERLIJK!

Our second time renting this cottage, just as lovely as the first. Quiet and peaceful, we spent nearly every evening out on the deck, watching the wildlife on the lake, cocktails in hand. Literally a mile away from one of the best golf courses in the area, with a nice restaurant as well. Asheville, Hendersonville and Brevard all an easy drive if you want to shop till you drop. Within 1/2 an hour of some of the best waterfalls and hikes you could hope for, this area has it all. House is super comfortable in a private area, grocery store and a few other good restaurants within 10 minutes. Pretty ideal in every way. Already looking forward to our next stay.

Waterfall hikes with family

Our family enjoyed our stay at this beautiful lake home. It was very quiet area located in between Brevard and Hendersonville.

perfect little spot for a family getaway. very private and close to Pisgah and Dupont forests for tons of hiking and recreation options. would definitely stay here again.

Lake House

Cute lake house with a great view! Lots of amenities that made the stay even more enjoyable. Location is quiet and close to Brevard and Hendersonville. Would love to stay here again!

Great spot!

We loved the location! It rained a lot of the time we were in town and this property gave us a beautiful vantage point to slow down and enjoy the rainforest we were in. Would definitely stay here again! The lake was great, lovely patios, and very comfortable beds!

Great spot!

Our kids loved paddling on the kayaks and we loved hanging out on the dock and deck. Close to lots of great trails and a peaceful, beautiful location. Fantastic all around.

Perfect!

We had an amazing stay at this property. It was so relaxing, yet the lake offered our teen boys things to do…fishing, kayaking, swimming. It was hard to leave! You won’t be disappointed staying here-book the trip!!!

The location was just right for us. There were some items brought to the owner's attention that she said would be rectified going forward. The owner was responsive and amenable to compensation for the items and our hope is that she follows through with that.

The view is definitely 5 star! From the main part of the house and the deck, you have a beautiful and tranquil view of the lake. The house is conveniently located near services (grocery store, gas, etc.), hiking trails, scenic drives. I stayed there with my teenage grandson for 3 nights and we were very comfortable. There are 3 bedrooms on 3 floors and it could easily sleep 3 singles or couples in the bedrooms plus extra on the downstairs sofas. The house is very well stocked with everything needed to cook meals and all the regular necessities like paper products, soaps, etc. There are also kayaks and lake floats which are a nice touch. I debated between a 5 star and 4 star for two reasons. The first is cleanliness. While the inside was acceptable, the outside deck area could use some maintenance and a good cleaning. Also there are outdoor cameras everywhere which is a little creepy. Overall, though, I would stay there again for the views and convenient location.

Tranquil Comfort

Karen is SUPER responsive and kind! The house is spacious with three full beds and three baths, but it could sleep another three on comfy sofas if needed. The kitchen and baths had all one could want, and the view of the lake is magnificent. Because the property is a private lakefront, daily walks were lovely. Convenient to Asheville and Sierra Nevada.

Beautiful Location

Great location for some seclusion and relaxation over the holidays. Wish the weather had been better and allowed more sitting on the deck to take in the scenery. The host was very accessible and helpful. Great communication. Will return.

This is a beautiful lakefront house. The view is awesome! Three floors and each with a bathroom made it possible for our three families to spread out. The kitchen has everything that you need. Plenty of staples provided. The beds are very comfortable and plenty of towels etc. Not far from Hendersonville and Brevard. Any questions you have, Karen is quick to respond.

Wonderful home

My wife and I decided to take our young children to the mountains for an impromptu vacation. We were pleasantly surprised by the home and the beautiful lake upon arrival. This home is extremely well stocked and was very clean. It is in a great location to all of the conveniences you may need but also feels somewhat secluded for that peace of mind. As for the host…Karen is one of the nicest and helpful hosts you could possibly ask for. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking.

Just as described- great stay!

Everything was as described with excellent communication from the owner. While the lake didn't seem to be well-stocked for fishing, we still had a fantastic time swimming and kayaking, and we managed to catch a couple of fish. There are plenty of nearby activities to keep teenagers entertained. Highly recommend!
