'We had a lovely stay at the Royal Oak. Hannah was extremely helpful and was quick to respond when i accidentally deleted the message with the keycode! The room was extremely comfortable and clean. We had a superb meal in the pub, and the staff were very friendly. The room was peaceful and quiet, and we enjoyed the views and a glorious sunset. 'Lovely, clean room reflecting the character of the hotel and bathroom was modern & contemporary. Despite being on the busy high street my room was quiet and I had a good night’s sleep, the bed was big and linen was lovely and crisp. Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. 'Great place to stay, especially with the dog. Fabulous walking right from the pod door. The pods are great, all clean, the double bed is definitely cosy but their description of the pod on the website is accurate, it is basic but they never profess to be anything else. Barbecue in front of each pod is great, we cooked supper and breakfast on it, for all you carnivores, the butcher in Fownhope is fabulous. If you just need a base to chill out in, this is absolutely perfect.'

'Stayed 1 night at the Royal Hotel. Very convenient location just a 5 minute walk into the centre of Ross on Wye. Lovely hotel with easy check in. We had a spacious double room which was clean and had all the amenities you needed. The staff are lovely and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Nice bar area and the food is very good( superb breakfast) Highly recommend this hotel. '

'Accommodation was superb and in a lovely private quiet location. There was a welcome pack of milk, bread, eggs, jams, butter so we didn't have to find a shop. Accommodation was great and free wifi, Netflix and Prime available. Nice area to exercise dog and it was a very relaxing break.'
