'This hotel is very poorly maintained. The bed sheets seemed fresh. However, the carpet needed vacuuming, the toilet + tub room did not appear to have been cleaned and the grout & caulking looked moldy, the sink electrical outlet/cover was very dirty, the bedside lamps outlet did not work, there was no desk chair or desk lamp. There was no hot water in the morning. The staff member was unable to help in any way. Parking was not a problem. The laundry room door was open showing a unclean room...

'Our meet and greet was great! And the place is a very nice looking Mansion. But entering the room it was hot to both of us. We started the small window AC in the living room and the vented stand along AC in the bedroom. It took quite a while to cool off. We decided to take a Jacuzzi bath and not only did it not work, we made ourselves even more hot. I went to shave and the bathroom sink is " clogged" not just slowly draining as I could run hot water very long before it was full. Unfortunately...

'Rooms are very clean, staff is always helpful, Deliscia at the bar is ALWAYS a pleasure to see, she is a wonderful person with a great personality. I stay at this Holiday Inn every time I am in Cedar Falls. The only complaint I have is that this hotel should offer FREE breakfast especially considering the room rates, I have stayed at other hotels around the country that were just as nice that offer complimentary breakfast with your stay and they were better breakfasts than what you charge for at...

'Im not a fan of pet friendly hotels and there was a barking dog at check in with a very stressed owner yelling at it. The staff was very professional and hotel was quite clean so I gave it a good review as I had a great stay.'

'The check-in clerk wasn't friendly. He didn't greet us. In fact, he barely spoke to me while checking us in. He just asked for my name and phone number, took my cc info, and handed me the keys. He didn't tells where to find the elevators, or provide any information about the property. Our room was clean enough. However they tried to give my brother a room that hadn't been cleaned since the last occupant. In the morning, their breakfast wasn't adequately stocked. We came downstairs...

'Our room was smokeless but it still smelt like smoke… the Fridge wasn’t fully cleaned… & the cabinets were a bit old & bear up. But I felt safe since they lock the front doors at 8pm. The staff was welcoming, which is so nice with a late check in (10pm). It worked for what we needed.'
