Welcome to Moose Lake!

On 100 feet of frontage this year around cabin is 3 bedrooms, 2 with full size beds and 1 with twin beds, there is also a pull out couch. Full kitchen includes stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, all dishes, utensils, pots and pans. 3/4 bathroom. Dish TV. All linens and towels are furnished as well as paper towels, toilet paper. Lakeside deck, fire pit, picnic table and charcoal grill. 12' rowboat & paddle boat included. 14' boat w/15hsp motor available. Private dock if you want to bring your own boat. Enjoy fishing, swimming, boating, tubing, water-skiing and nearby walking trails. View the miles of wilderness shoreline in the heart of the Chequamegon National Forest. Moose Lake is a unique flowage lake fed by Big Moose, Little Moose and west fork of the Chippewa River. Fish include musky, walleye, bass and panfish.


WINTER
Enjoy easy access to several trails and restaurants with direct access to the cabin. Skiing, snowshoeing, and ice fishing are also popular with several opportunities nearby.

SPECIALS - October - April, 3 night minimum stay at $200. $120/night for stays 5 nights or longer. Please contact for flexible rates.

Wonderfully restful vacation

The cabin was everything a North Woods getaway should be. Great care was made to maximize the comfort with many additional niceites. We will go back to such a wonderful spot and thoughtful owner. Thank you.

Great Northwoods cabin and Lake!

This cabin was super cozy and we had everything we needed.Perfect for myself , my partner and our dog. Moose Lake is beautiful. Some good fishing but weather was not as cooperative as we had hoped. Jerry the owner was super friendly. The people around the area were friendly and helpful. Definitely will stay there again.

Nostalgic Gem

We loved our stay on Moose Lake. House is extremely clean and well kept. The house had all the essentials. We brought our own boat and the pier is in great shape. Jerry the host, was great and friendly to deal with. Fishing was good. Some little restaurants and bars close by. We loved Louie's Landing to get a bite to eat. A very quiet and relaxing week away from it all.My husband, 2 labradors, and I loved this little gem.

Off the grid! That was nice!

This property is a great way to "unplug" Up North... It has a landline that we got a few calls on and a dish TV...(but we never used that) Cabin was adequate and had all the basics. A few window screens and window treatments, could use an upgrade....as some would let in bugs... (Speaking of the skeeters...there sure was a plenty...but nothing that not to be expected in the North Woods. And Hot!!...we were there for some brutual hot weather...there is no AC in this unit..so the big fans the owner has in the basement....sure came in handy... The lake is very pretty and we only caught a couple nice bass....(we did have better luck with pan fish...at another location...) Some of the limited fishing...could of been due to the extreme weather... The property was as advertised....and if you want to get "away" for a bit...this is your kind of place....we saw a lot of other wildlife....we were looking to see one of the resident elk herd....(never did see one...) But we did spot a black bear on our last day....

Great place to disconnect.

This is a 1950's fishing cabin. I felt like I was a kid again. The view of the lake from the cabin was beautiful and I really enjoyed reading from the deck. The hummingbirds would buzz by my head while I read. It was a very relaxing week.

Perfect Northwoods Escape

This was the perfect Northwoods Escape. We've spent a lot of time in Northern WI and this was exactly the experience and location we were looking for. The cabin is small and cozy, perfect for a family of 4. It is not extravagant but has everything you need. Moose Lake is absolutely beautiful, sunrises and sunsets from the pier are unbeatable. The lake is perfect for watersports and fishing. Convenient boat launch right down the road and easy docking in front of the cabin. I would highly recommend if you're looking for an Up North Escape / Northwoods Getaway. P.S. Jerry is as awesome as all previous reviews stated : )

So Relaxing

We had a great stay on Moose Lake. The cabin was perfect for us. Very nice property and access to the lake. The lake was not too busy, so we enjoyed kayaking on it. It was just what we wanted - quiet, beautiful scenery, and relaxing!

Great location especially if you have a fishing boat

Rustic cabin right on the water. Plenty of room for a small family or group. Close to ATV / Snowmobile trails. Great location for fishing on the Lake. Was not aware before we rented the cabin that Jerry was a local fishing guide and Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame inductee!

Clean fishing cabin on moose lake

We really enjoyed the cabin. We come to moose lake every year. Sometimes twice. It is truly a beautiful lake. The owner Jerry was a sweet devoted man and was truly kind full of information in every way. I would give them a 10 star rating but watch out for the neighbor next door. She was out right deliberately mean to our family for no reason.

Dock fishing

Fishing from the dock was good, boat issues so we didn’t get to musky fish as much as we would have liked but moved 3 fish in about 5 hours of fishing. A few small repairs needed on the cabin but nothing that would deter us from renting it again.
