'Unique turn of century hotel that has been fully updated for a comfortable and enjoyable island experience. The staff was very accommodating, the rooms were comfortable, but rather small, and the hotel and rooms were very clean. We didn’t have a chance to use the amenities as we were only there one night but there were plenty to choose from.'

'The hotel is very conveniently located to the fairy. The room is large but very dark. The staff was not helpful and seemed bothered when we asked for anything. We absolutely love the island but will not stay here again.'

'This is an older hotel, we knew that when we booked our room. When we checked in, it was obvious just looking at the outside & the lobby area that things have not been up-kept, but we decided to give it a chance. When we got to our room we had to pass a room full of old discarded stained mattresses & box springs, there were bugs all over the stairwell, wires hanging out of our door lock, the paint on our door was peeling off, the door to our room was completely covered in bugs, the room smelled...

'If you’re looking for a nice roadside motel, that’s very clean cottage looking with a fridge microwave and Keurig coffee at a good price. This is an excellent place to go. My husband and I enjoyed it. The only thing I would suggest is get a room away from the main road we were in room two and the cars are loud from the road so it took us a while to get to sleep besides that it was very nice. Also not right in downtown but only about 2miles away'

'Unfortunately they have let this motel go downhill. The rooms are dirty and dingy. You can’t modernize by adding a mini fridge to the room. This place needs an update. It is right on the street so there is street noise (probably only important on busy summer weekends). They put out a few hard bagels and mini muffins with coffee in the morning but Inwould suggest going to Wild Blueberry cafe for breakfast. Some staff were fine, other staff not so much. 'It's ok, nice location close to everything. Breakfast is decent and friendly staff. The whole structure can be upgraded. The wifi sucks it didn't work at all. The sheets had stains and prints on the walls. Also noticed a shortage of staff no house keeper on ground like that, sometimes the check in staff has to leave the desk to take care of stuff in the rooms.
