This place matches the description excatly. The views are breath taking. Jake was amazing host. When we arrived, all the lights were on the heat was at the perfect temperature and we even had a Christmas tree set up and a poinsettia on the dining room table. My family felt like this was Home..We will definitely be going here again!

We have stayed at this house a couple of times - we love it!! The kitchen is well equipped and there are several cozy nooks to read and relax in. Love the hot tub and the pickleball court and basketball and pool table. We cooked, relaxed and sat around the campfire. All around great family weekend. Jake the host is very friendly and responsive.

Our family had a wonderful stay at this house. Jake was very friendly and helpful, the pool is really nice, the house had plenty of room for our big family to spread out, the kitchen was well stocked with cooking tools. The location is very secluded and quiet but also a short drive to the city. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great long weekend at the house! We all enjoyed the pool, the fire pit, the view and the beautiful house. The home was equipped with everything we needed and things we didn’t think we did like bug spray! This was the perfect meeting spot for our family from the Pittsburgh area and CT.

The house was great. We had a group of family members (11 in all) coming in from various parts of the North East to attend a wedding in the area. The house was large enough, and spread out, so we never felt crowded.The amenities were great and we got to use the pool, the barbeque, had s'mores by the firepit one evening, and a couple of Pickle Ball matches.Everything was well documented in the welcome instructions and Jake, the owner, was very responsive to any messages I sent.

We loved staying at this property. There was plenty of room for the 12 of us. There were bedrooms for everyone and quiet nooks and spaces for reading, resting and chatting. The large dining room table allowed us to eat our meals together in comfort and the spacious kitchen have us plenty of room to cook. On the rainy days of our stay, we hung out inside and in the covered hot tub and the sunny days we spent by the pool and walking the nearby trails. Our host, Jake, responded quickly to any questions we had but really, all the information needed is either on the website or in the welcome book. We appreciated the ample parking and the gorgeous view. Check out was easy, with just having to wash up our dishes and start a couple of loads of towels in the washer. This is definitely a 5 star rating and we hope we can stay here again.

Beyond Expectaions

My ministry leadership team booked this property to host our yearly retreat. The space was beautiful and the views even more amazing in person! We had so much space that everyone could find a place to be alone when neededd, even in a large group. The kitchen was amazing and having the basement kitchen was such a bonus. It was the 1st time all the ladies wanted me to re-book for next year! Jake was amazing and so helpful with anything request. Definitely would stay here again.

Could not have been better!

Our family had a great stay at this property. We used the pool and hot tub more than anything and they were both perfect. The view is amazing and a great place to kick back and read or enjoy time with loved ones. I loved the privacy here as well. I can't say enough about the host! Jake is great at making sure you have everything you need to make your stay just perfect. I truly appreciated his communication. There isn't a lot to do in town, but the river and surrounding area are gorgeous. There are plenty of places to shop and restaurants too.

Son’s Wedding Weekend

This house has EVERYTHING! Any kitchen accessory you can think of is there, wonderfully comfortable bed linens and towels, very comfortable furniture INCLUDING THE BEDS! There is plenty of outdoor furniture on the deck and around the pool. Having 2 kitchens when hosting our family for our son’s Wedding Weekend was very helpful. There are many areas where large groups can gather as well as cute nooks people could sit and have conversations. Our gang loved hanging out together in the pool, hot tub and around the fire pit. There are books and toys for kiddos. The views from the house are outstanding from the inside and on the decks. The sunrise from the dining room area was beautiful. I would love to come back and enjoy the fireplaces and all the warm fuzzy blankets scattered in the living areas and bedrooms. Jake has thought of everything you might need including a welcome basket with snacks! Thank you for making our weekend with family easy and memorable. PS there was even an outlet for our EV in the garage!

Amazing view, and nicely equipped

We had an amazing stay in this beautiful home, with friends celebrating my wife and my 40th birthdays this year. The pool and hot tub are perfect. Jake was incredibly welcoming and responsive, and we would definitely recommend this to anyone with a larger group. There is also a photo album of the history of the home in the library, which is an excellent easter egg to flip through.

Awesome week at Mountain Retreat!

This house is amazing! The location and the view can't be beat. The house is very spacious, clean and well-kept. The kitchen was fully stocked. The house is not too far from Hersheypark and other day trip locations like Indian Echo Caverns and Turkey Hill Experience. We also really enjoyed the pool and the fire pit! Jake truly is the best host. Any time I reached out, he was very responsive and pleasant. We had such a relaxing and enjoyable week. I would highly recommend this house!

Exceptional house and host

We had a wonderful time at this property! We stayed over the 4th of July and had a wonderful time watching the fireworks from the comfort of the house. It's a lovely property with wonderful views, lots of nature and a great pool. All of this with the comforts of home and close to so many sights. Jake was a wonderful host as well - friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.

Amazing getaway!

This house is beyond amazing, we arrived and checked in without any issues, the place has enough room for everyone even the pup. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking, the back is perfect for grilling and enjoying family, while enjoying the pool also. The game room was nothing short of fantastic, there was more than enough to do! We came to this place to spend a day at Hershey Park and the kids didn’t even care to leave for the park because the house was everything! The property is up on a mountain and very secluded! And the View, I will let you see for your self! 😊 I am already thinking of our next stay here! Lastly, Jake was awesome and very attentive! He was a text away at anytime! Sad to leave!

This house was everything we needed and wanted and then some. Beautiful view. Very spacious house with 3 floors. Many areas in the house to have conversations whether it be private between a couple people or a large gathering to play games! The bedrooms were great sizes, and there were plenty of bathrooms that we didn’t have to “wait in a line”. Nice to have extra refrigerator space in the small kitchenette downstairs. The full kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to cook meals. The hot tub was great to use in the cold weather. We stayed for 3 days for a family wedding and there was a snowstorm the day before the wedding! We were very concerned with ice and sliding off the driveway as the driveway is steep and curvy (but that’s why you get the great view on top!). But the host was very good to communicate with and handled the concerns we had about getting to the wedding in a timely manner. He made sure the driveway was plowed, salted, and cleared well before we had to leave. The basket of goodies we received upon arriving was a welcomed and a sweet surprise. Scripture throughout the house brought comfort and peace and was a display of HOPE that our world so desperately needs. We hunkered down on the day of the storm, and it was a perfect place to do so, as we celebrated family being together from PA, NC, and AZ.

Amazing retreat

We had a Bible study weekend at this property, and it was an absolutely amazing experience. The beautiful view, the lovely accommodations, the set up of the house were all perfect. Jake, the host, was extremely helpful in his communication and in being accommodating. Plus, with the property's easy access to downtown, it was a perfect location to be close at hand to Harrisburg, but feel like we were away and remote. People at the retreat repeatedly said they couldn't imagine having a more perfect location! We hope to stay again in the future, and we really appreciate the host's helpfulness.

Even More Amazing than Expected!

I brought a group of women leaders to this incredible property for a weekend of relaxing AND work. Everything about our experience was even better than expected! There was plenty of room to spread out and have your own space and then space to come together as a group. The hosts have thought of everything! We had so much fun using the pool, hot tub, and fire pit, and the views are nothing less than spectacular! Several of our group commented on what a great place this would be for a family gathering! There are lots of games, a pool table, a ton of books, great wifi, a basketball court and more. Another thing we loved is that the kitchen is amazing- well stocked with plenty of everything you need, including serving dishes. And the dining table must have about 20 extra leaves! We also had a meal catered, and Jake’s recommendation was perfect. Jake could not have been more attentive and responsive. You will LOVE this property!
