'The home was clean and well maintained. There are great views of the northwest arm and entrance to Halifax harbor from most of the rooms, including pool and hot tub. The interior decorating is cool including many wood features. Dan the property manager was responsive and provided good instructions on using the smart home features. We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Halifax and this property.'

'Our host was lovely. She provided suggestions that we appreciated. The place was clean and the beds comfortable. The kitchen and bedrooms are upstairs which was fine with us, but may not be for some. The kitchen area and fridge are small which posed a bit of a challenge because there were five of us.'

'Service was great! I arrived at 8:30am having taken a red-eye flight. I was exhausted, hadn’t slept, and took a chance that they might have a room ready early. The gentleman at the front desk was lovely and got me a room right away, obviously hours before checkin time. The beds were super comfortable and great amenities were provided in the room for free. Thanks for a great stay!'

'The passcode system was glitchy to enter the building when we first arrived. There was no one in the office, so text messaging had to be used. That incurred a long wait and we weren't sure if were getting in. Those issues could attributed to the fact we online reserved the afternoon before, less than 24 hours. There was construction on Granville adjacent to the building. We were out all day so that didn't bother us.'

'I'm leaving a 5-star review across the board because the staff were amazing and deserve recognition, but I will leave some suggestions for improving the experience at the Moxy. The hotel is brand-new, so it's obviously ironing out some of the wrinkles. 1) Please put at least 1 chair in each room. There's no space to work if you're there on business, which I was. There was a fold-out desktop space next to the bed, but without a chair, there was simply no way to work effectively from the room. I...

Only issue with the room was inability to comfort flow of air outside of keeping balcony door open half way throught the night. "We find it not good when we where awake on the second level that we smell constantly the smell from the breakfast downstairs. There is this hotel to expensive for. The rest was good. We where before this in the delta marriot in Dartmouth, so we were spoiled."
