Come stay with us at Beachside and get away from it all! This gorgeous and open five-bedroom lakefront home is located in Harbert and has 100 feet of private beach adjacent to 500 feet of private association beach. The views will knock you out as soon as you walk in the door!

Beachside has been completely updated over the last five years, culminating in a stunning and spacious home with lovely natural stained woodwork throughout. The house overlooks Lake Michigan and has immense views of the lake, perfect for watching the terrific sunsets and maybe even see the Chicago skyline on one of our many clear summer days. The house is on a private dead-end road, so there is no through traffic to speak of. All of the boxes have been ticked off by the homeowners–there are multiple family rooms, comfortable bedrooms, spotless new bathrooms, an intercom that connects the entire house, several flatscreen televisions, radiant heated floors, and of course there is wireless high-speed internet throughout.

Entry to the main level is via a grand entrance with a large covered porch. From the entryway, guests step into a magnificent great room with 26-foot ceilings and unbelievable lake views. The living space features a brick wood-burning fireplace with a cherry mantle and comfortable seating around an 80'' flatscreen TV complete with a Blu-Ray DVD player and Bose Surround Sound system. The living space opens up to the dining area furnished with a beautiful wood table that seats 10. The kitchen is fully equipped for gourmet cooking, featuring high-end appliances, beautiful black granite countertops, an under-counter wine cooler, and a huge island with a prep sink and seating for three. An office connects the main bedroom to the great room. The main bedroom suite also has vaulted ceilings and lake views and is furnished with a high-end memory foam king-size adjustable mattress with two remotes for the ultimate in sleeping comfort, a 40'' flatscreen TV with DVR, and marble-topped bedside chests to cap it off! The ensuite main bathroom has heated travertine tiles, a large double sink vanity, a steam shower, a television, a ceiling fan, and great lake views. There's a laundry area located adjacent to the main bedroom. A unique feature is a loft that overlooks the office which is accessible from the great room. It has a Crate & Barrel day bed and views of the lake and the nearby woods.

Three bedrooms, plus a recreation room that walks out to a great stone patio overlooking the lake are located on the lower level of the home. The first bedroom is called the Sunset Suite and features an ensuite bathroom, a king-size bed, flatscreen TV, and sliding glass doors providing a great view of the lake. The second bedroom is called the Dill Pickle Room and is furnished with a king-size bed and a flatscreen TV. From this bedroom, guests have views of the surrounding forest. There's also a bathroom with a great deep Kohler tub, a shower, and ceramic tiles throughout connects the second bedroom to the third bedroom, which is called The Navy Room. The Navy Room has two twin beds, flatscreen TV, lake views, and a large closet. Also located on the lower level is a fabulous rec room which is equipped with a 55'' flatscreen TV with DVR. An additional laundry area is located right off the rec room, which also contains a beverage fridge.

The upper level houses the fifth bedroom, which is called the Dome Room Suite. This open and airy bedroom with arched ceiling, cove up-lighting, and a view of the woods is furnished with a king-size extra deep memory foam bed and is connected to a full bath. This space also includes comfortable seating situated around a handsome wall made out of natural fieldstone and a large natural timber mantle that surrounds a fireplace, as well as a 60'' flatscreen TV.

Outdoors, guests will find a beautifully landscaped yard featuring large rock walls and the previously mentioned stone patio that overlooks Lake Michigan. There is ample outdoor seating, plus there is also a separate lakeside deck with a picnic table by the beach. Last, but surely not least, a private stairway leads down to the large private beach. Simply put, this is one of the finest vacation rentals in all of Michigan!

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
