'When you arrive at this property you simply don’t want to leave! The cabin has the most special and unique feel to it with quality furnishings and appliances and the bath outside on the deck is spectacular (even in the rain!)
We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay here and our only regret is we didn’t stay longer! With no tv or wifi it was a great place to get lost in the serenity and away from the hustle and bustle of life and technology. This was one of our highlight stays in our 16 day tour...

'Lovely room overlooking gorgeous gardens and places to relax. The owner, Jen, told me TE MAHURU means a place of rest and renewal, and that it was. Hosts are fantastic and the place is perfect for serenity. We really enjoyed the hot tub and star- gazing too, as this spot is one of only 23 designated Dark Sky observation spots in the world. Truly a unique and lovely experience all around. Good breakfast too.'

'If you have kids who would like to experience something new, loves farm animals and outdoors, this is the place. We stayed on October 24 on our last day in the south island. We were looking for something new and different and Wacky Stays delivered. It is not a brand new dwelling so please manage your expectations.
