Farmstyle Comfort Minutes from Canyon

Located just 10 minutes from Canyon and 25 minutes from Amarillo, this home on the farm offers a quiet break from the chaos and the beautiful sunsets are guaranteed to not disappoint. 3 bedrooms and 1 bath, full kitchen and quaint dining area. One bedroom has a king, one bedroom has a double and one bedroom has 2 twin beds. Sleeps 6 (actual beds) with new linens and furnishings.

Gaze out the window to see goats grazing in the pasture, chickens pecking the ground, and maybe even a baby goat jumping around as well.

We are family friendly and would like for your stay to be relaxing but can suggest many activities within a 10-20 minute drive. Canyon offers the new Canyon Aqua Park, Panhandle Plains Museum, West Texas A&M University, and various activities on the historic square throughout the summer. Please do not forget to take a drive to the Palo Duro Canyon and maybe catch the musical Texas while there.

We had such a relaxing and fun stay! We city folk LOVED the sounds of..... nothing. The big open sky, the smell of fresh air. All just 15 minutes from all conveniences like restaurants and grocery stores. And clean! The pictures do not do this home justice. Sure nothing is new, but everything is very, very clean. This is probably one of, if not the CLEANEST vacation home we've ever stayed in! AND FRIENDLY!! Our hosts went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and we really, really appreciated it!

Exactly as described and expected.

Very responsive to a couple questions I had. Kitchen and bathrooms well stocked,nicely appointed. COOL A/C! Large cabin/small house. Nice location for visiting the canyons and the Plains Museum in Canyon. There are jeep tours, horseback rides, mead/winery....plenty to do. Plus, fun viewing of goats and barn cats! Would gladly visit again.

Peaceful and Happy Stay!

I am so happy that we chose to stay at this Happy House on the farm! It was centrally located for our two planned visits to Caprock and Palo Duro Canyons. After a long day of hiking and exploring the canyons, we were grateful to come “home” to our quiet farmhouse rental. The home was well-stocked with kitchen tools and paper products as well as a few snacks and coffee pods. There was more than enough room for our family of 4. It felt just like home. High recommended!

This was a wonderful stay for our getaway to the Palo Duro canyon. The house is on the same lot as the main house but is private. There is a goodest of good boy dogs that was happy to greet us upon arrival. Kids were happy to see the goats and barn cats. Very cute place and only 10-15 mins away from local Walmart and fast food options.

Family Farm time

Staying at the farmhouse was an amazing experience, with the charming presence of farm animals adding to the rustic ambiance. The interactions with the animals were both relaxing and educational especially for my kids growing up in metro cities, making our stay truly unique. Perfect!

The little farmhouse we stayed in (behind the larger, main house) was just perfect! It is beautiful on the inside, very clean, and had everything we needed, plus more! There are farm animals near the house (goats, chickens, a friendly Lab dog that didn't run up to us until we called nicely, we love dogs), and a few beautiful barn cats roaming the property. Only one cat would come to us, but s/he was sweet and added to the charm. We were a short drive to Palo Duro Canyon and just had the best time creating memories with our college-aged sons. We highly recommend this property.
