The property sits right on the Mississippi so one can enjoy the scenery, barges going up and down and all over river traffic. You wont be disappointed in choosing to stay here. Bellevue itself is a very friendly town within walking distance to shops,bars and restaurants.'

'Leading up to our stay, the hosts went above and beyond to answer all of my questions promptly. We felt safe, welcomed, and comfortable in this home and the amenities it provided. I highly recommend this particular unit for its privacy as well, we felt totally alone despite being located alongside a small community of other residents. 'It was a fun little cabin! It had everything we needed and nothing we didn't. We were greeted by cows for coffee in the morning and enjoying fire at night. We enjoyed being off the beaten path and yet still close to Gelena. If you want privacy and a little adventure, this is the spot!'

'This was one of the best vacations I ever have had. Everyone was so concerned that I was ok and enjoying myself. The Minnow became "my houseboat" as it was so well decorated and homey. 'This place was so nice stayed for two nights kids begged for a 3rd. Saw turtles,beavers, muskrats. Both kids caught their first fish ever right off the dock. Definite core memories. Beds/bedding were comfy and clean. Beach around the corner. If you need there are public swimming pools near. We went to mt carrol public pool and it was perfect. Have already booked stay for next year!! Thank you!'

'The home was a beautiful and relaxing place to stay while we were in town for my father in law’s funeral. It was lovely to have a calming place to retreat to between memorial services and visiting. We will hopefully be back again under better and happier circumstances.'

'!! Excellence !! Wonderfully furnished in a great location for a peaceful getaway. Quaint little town very quiet even the train down the middle of the street behind is quiet. Apartment is awesome bed is comfy with great sheets. Highly recommend!'

'This house is sitting on top of the River Bank overlooking the mississippi. There's absolutely nothing blocking your view. The sunrise we experience was absolutely gorgeous. The small home has lots of amenities and is worth the trip.'

'This tiny-home style log cabin was all we had hoped for. It is comfortable, immaculate, and extremely well-organized for storage and functionality. We especially enjoyed the outdoor amenities, with the fire pit and hot tub right on the river, in view of the lock -- and under the stars. Comfortable, private, easy access to the river town of Bellevue, Iowa - with an up-close taste and view of the Mississippi River -- all for a surprisingly reasonable price. Highly recommended!'

'We have a family tradition of staying with our family for a week. We cook, play, games and craft. This house fit all our needs! The hosts were on top of bringing us salt and a shovel when it snowed unexpectedly. They were so easy to deal with and checked on us.'
