'We had the absolute best stay at the Koa Kea. We loved how the resort is on the smaller side, and you can easily walk out of your room and to the pool, beach, or to some nearby businesses (little fish, puka dog, surf shop..). The staff was super friendly and accommodating as well. I also loved being greeted with real leis, chocolate for our honeymoon, and wine in the room when we arrived! The pool bar had some yummy food, and good drinks. The sunrise yoga was fantastic as well. We stayed here...

'Wonderful spot to stay- on the ocean with mountain views, grocery and restaurants within walking distance, easy drive to the airport, and easy access to beaches, excursions, and hiking. Kids loved the pool with the double waterslides and lazy river. The resort was family friendly (but not too many screaming kids 😉), and in a very safe neighborhood. 'The Kauai Marriott is a beautiful place to stay. The room was very nice and comfortable and although there is no kitchen there is a mini refrigerator and coffee maker. The ocean view was fabulous. The staff there is exceptional and friendly. There is shopping and great restaurants nearby. They also provide a free airport shuttle service. I highly recommend this place.'

The pool and beach are amazing. Staff was not overly helpful, maybe to be expected at an owners property. And they said they would do room service once and never came. 'It was a very clean unit and convenient, it was only a couple steps to the pool and we could watch the sunrise from the unit. The host checked in making sure all was good and if we needed anything, very thoughtful. The fridge was very nice and convenient for our stay. We enjoyed the stay, the pool, and the beach. The coffee maker was very nice in the unit so we could drink it from our patio while watching the sunrise. '

'Three adults stayed in this lovely up to date condo. We had never been to Kauai before and this condo fit our needs beautifully. We hated to leave to return to our homes in cold weather! We loved the location, as it was close to our excursions, the airport, shopping, restaurants, golf, and walking paths. Although my handicapped brother-in-law was not with us, it would have been perfect for him, as he is in a wheelchair & the condo was wheelchair accessible. We would love to return someday.'

'Overall we had a good stay. The view from the room was incredible and definitely one of the highlights of the trip. The resort itself was nice and the staff around the property were very friendly and helpful, especially the people who shuttle guests to and from their cars. Parking is a bit of a walk from the units, so they take you by golf cart, which was convenient, though it might be a little harder for older guests. we enjoyed our stay and the view was truly amazing.'
