'The hotel really lives up to the name and expectations. Lovely lobby with smooth jazz and friendly staff. Big room with a terrific view of the swimming pool with the city skyline in the back. Amenities were great and so was parking. Would 10/10 recommend staying here!'

'The property is definitely dated, but v clean. Needed a place to stay for a local race which required 3 nights accommodation. Price was right, and then I was also informed at check in that bc the pool wasn’t open, I would be receiving an additional discount. Nice! Staff were wonderful, and provided me a lot of detail about what amenities were on site, AND the restaurant was open until 10pm which was great! 'Lisa was a wonderful host this week during my stay at the Lakeside Inn. Friendly, attentive and knowledgeable of the area. My room was renovated and had all the essentials after a long day of work. I had a wonderful home cooked meal at the restaurant and really enjoyed seeing the friendly cats outside and great conversations on the patio! 5 stars for Lisa and her team, they make the motel a home away from home! '
