However, if we had known that the cabin was 2 km away from the hotel, we probably would not have stayed. I booked it because of its proximity to echo land. 'I really enjoyed my time at Dark Horse. The owner and staff are warm and welcoming, and helped out in many ways, both big and small. Breakfasts and dinners were good and the lounge/dining room was a comfortable place to relax after riding. It was great value for the money. I would recommend it, and would stay there again without hesitation.'

'Nice lodge, close to bus line that reach the skiing area. Friendly and guests as well as management. All people are there for the skiing and you can make your own breakfast, lunch and dinner in the kitchen. I would stay there again if going again.'

'館内や部屋は清潔で暖かく快適です。 タオルも毎日替えていただけました。 部屋に冷蔵庫が無いのが残念。 外国人が多いため夜ご飯が付いてない宿が増えたのか、周りの店は予約しないと入れない程でした。一番残念だったのは大浴場が8時半で終わる事です。夜食食べて帰って来たらもう終わってます。外国人はいいかもですが、日本人はガッカリです。せめて10時くらいは開いてて欲しいです。いいお風呂だから余計に惜しい！ 朝ご飯は２日間同じメニュー。7割外国人だと聞いたので誰も文句ないのか、せめて2パターンくらいはあったほうがいいかな、二泊するとちょいツライです。 安かったから、しょうがない、泊まるだけならいい宿です。'
