'The room was very nice and clean; staff were helpful as well. The owner actually helped troubleshoot my electric stove from Prague over video chat, that was cool of him to do that. This was a great stay. However, it felt like a couple's retreat and as a solo traveler it was A. Tad discouraging at times as I was there for 8 days; though perhaps a lack of research on my part. That aside, this place was pretty awesome and close to a local well-pressed grocery store. I would definitely stay here...

'When you arrive through the durt road 2 min from town, you immediatly smell the garbage in the street that is left outside. This wasnt a good start for us. But The hotel looks like the pictures, the room was Nice. the pool is smaller And the water in the pool wasnt that clear (or clean) the hospitality is very good. The señora Made us awesome breakfast And was really helpful. Don’t forget to bring mosquito repellent. '

'We had a wonderful stay at the beach bungalows during our honeymoon! The grounds are beautiful, quiet and peaceful, all while being in a great area to walk anywhere in Tamarindo. We felt well taken care of by the staff and really felt like it was our only little world away from the chaos. We even got a special little message in our bungalow for our honeymoon which was such a nice personal touch. We had wonderful neighbours while staying. We can’t wait to come back and hopefully with our friends...

'I spent two days here and it was unlike any other lodge/hotel I’ve been to before. The rooms are beautiful, the pool is stunning, the jungle gym is also such an amazing addition but nothing tops the the host himself, he made sure every question was answered and I truly felt at home almost 4000 km from Canada. Pura vida!!'

'We absolutely fell in love with the Pipe House charm and the warm and friendly owner! Great vibes, beautiful location just steps from the beach, unique lodgings and fun common areas to hang out.
