'I thought they promised more in their Expedia ad than was delivered: no airport pickup / round trip, no restaurant, bar. Poorly designed signage and I was in a taxi. The property was clean despite a couple of nights of storms. The room was clean and comfortable in spite of the high ass humidity.'

'While the room itself was nice....the location is terrible. There is a view of the ocean, but it's across the street...so it's an ocean view but not ocean front. There is a gas station right beside the room...constant lines of traffic. there is a speed bump right in front, so all vehicles slow down. Two bright street lights shining into the room all night. I would certainly not recommend and def would not stay there again.'

'We just completed our 5-day stay at Maria's Kan Kin in Isla Mujeres, and it was wonderful. This is a beautiful, quiet boutique hotel with amazing breakfasts included in the room rate. We enjoyed lunch and dinner at the hotel every day. While the food was a little pricey, it was absolutely delicious, so we didn't mind paying for the quality and experience. Teresa at the front desk and her assistant were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The restaurant staff was also...

'Lotus: Clean rooms. Front desk is very informative. Taxi service is usually readily available right outside Lotus. They also have their own golf carts to rent. Spa treatment was great. Guru restaurant food at lotus was great (two plates we ordered ceviche and the black angus burger with truffle fries - best truffle fries I’ve had anywhere, ask for the habanero hot sauce it’s delicious) although they close the beach access from lotus relatively early in the evening you still have access to it...
