About Sweet Beach Home Alabama

Sweet Beach Home Alabama is the West side of the duplex. The East side of the duplex is called The Sandtrap, a 3 bedroom/3 bathroom property, which is also managed by Harris Vacations.

From its cheerful turquoise exterior to the new coastal chic furniture inside, Sweet Beach Home Alabama is the perfect vacation home to make your Alabama Beach dreams come true! Outside, guests will find 3 private decks, one facing north and two with gorgeous, unobstructed Gulf views. Enjoy the shaded first-floor deck or soak up the sun on the upper-level deck off the master. There is also plenty of space below the home for relaxing or enjoying a meal in the shade. Entering the home on the main floor, guests are greeted with comfortable furniture in the living area and a gorgeous, open kitchen with a view! Along with the breathtaking view, the living room features a pull-out sofa that sleeps 2 guests, a comfortable seating area, and a large TV. The open kitchen and dining area are stocked with everything you need for preparing meals, seating for 6 at the table and 4 at the bar, and gleaming new granite countertops. 

Also on the main level, guests will find a hall bath with a walk-in shower, a bedroom with a queen bed that sleeps 2, a TV, and access to the private north-facing balcony to enjoy the breeze. Upstairs features 2 more bedrooms. The first is the bunk room, which has a set of full-size bunk beds with a pull-out trundle that sleeps a total of 4. This room also features a TV for kids to enjoy a movie after a day at the beach!  A Jack and Jill bathroom with a walk-in shower connects the bunk room to the master bedroom. The spacious master has a king-size bed and TV, but the crown jewel is the private sun deck outside! Guests will love the lounge chairs and unbeatable views from the second-floor balcony!

Wonderful home. Very clean with super cute decor. Perfect for the three of us. The only negative is the stairs to the unit are really steep!! The deck stairs were much easy to use. Perfect location and short distance to the water!! Would stay there again!!

The king size bed in the master bedroom is past its life expectancy. There is no box springs and the bed is broke down to the point it needs replaced. Squeaks very bad when you move. The porch outside of the master bedroom could use taller seats to see over the rail and view the ocean. The house was nice besides that. We enjoyed the location and the house.

Very clean, kitchen was stocked great for whatever your needs are. Close to town etc. It was great! Just note if you are handicap the stairs are very steep like bad knees, hips I made it at a snails pace. Living room furniture needs to be updated. Overall it was great. Would stay again.

Great Property-Great Service

We had a family of 4 plus grandparents stay on this property over Easter Weekend. The location was perfect and had all the amenities we would need for in the house and accessories necessary to enjoy the beach. Easy, quick stroll as the beach was in the backyard. In addition, this property had several food options and grocery options within 15 minutes drive.With all these great features, the ease of check in and check out was worth mentioning. And on to the real reason we decided to write a review. On a Saturday, we noticed the AC wasn't working properly which was cause for concern. However, after making a phone call to after hours maintenance, they had a technician on the way to alleviate the problem within an hour. There was clear communication from the AC tech with their plan and all was resolved by the time got back from dinner. We left very happy and the kids have already started asking when we get back. Our experience was great and we will be returning. Thanks!

New Year’s Eve at Gulf Shores

This was a fantastic 3-bd, 2-ba right on the beach! The only complaint I have is that the kitchen had zero supplies - no cooking oil, no salt, no pepper, absolutely nothing. I don’t expect a whole spice rack, but I do expect those basics. Otherwise a great property!

Amazing Vacation

The house was perfect. The location was far enough away from all the heavy traffic but only 10 minutes from all the restaurants and attractions. The house was beautiful and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. It was absolutely spotless and enough nice towels and linens. We had a perfect beautiful view of the beach from the upper and lower decks. We couldn’t have been happier. I would highly recommend this house to anyone.

Great location, good for our dog. The privacy was nice, both in the duplex and the beach. The only downside was the master bed was upstairs and had to share a bathroom with the bunk room. We loved the decks! We would definitely stay there again.

Retirement Celebration with Family

Had a wonderful time on our short 2 night stay. Loved the property, the location, and proximity to the beach. There is a lot of stairs but it provided the most beautiful views of the sea on both floors. Communication with property management was great, very responsive! No problems with the duplex at all. Will keep it on my radar for future vacations. Only con was finding a spot for the dog to use the restroom without getting a sand spur, or two. I rate this property as a 5/5 experience.

Beautiful beach!

The home was clean and comfortable for our family. Great beach access and beautiful sandy beach. We were there during very warm weather and the AC could not keep up in the heat of the day. We called and it was repaired, but the upstairs was still warmer and a bit uncomfortable. The home shows some wear from visitors which we expected, but also could use more of a beachy decor, and a kitchen cabinet upgrade, which is the reason for our 3 rating. Except for AC issues we had a great stay.
