  • The Gulf of Mexico beach is steps away from this beautiful ocean view condo at the Gulf Shores Plantation. Sitting on the 16ft wide balcony, you can see the Gulf of Mexico as well as the beautifully maintained courtyard and the pool just below you to the right and just beyond it, the hot tub. The ocean's horizon to the left. The nearby boardwalk means this unit is one of the closest to the beach in this gated community. The private beach is wide with white sugar sand and early morning can find you have the whole beach to yourself. There are other pools on the premises as well as tennis courts, golf, on and on.

Beautiful views from balcony, steps from beach, pools, hot tub. Perfect little vacation spot!! Communication with owner was top notch, one of the best experiences! My family stays at the plantation at least once a year, always have had great experiences, this one was by far was the best!! Will definitely be back!

Great host and condo! Marty was quick to respond to our questions and the unit had everything we needed and then some. Plus a beautiful view and the world’s most comfortable mattresses!! Thank you Marty!

Spring break

Great location, we really enjoyed it. The kitchen was very small and the beds were a little uncomfortable. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay.

This unit has the best view at the resort! It is also one of the shortest walks to the beach. Our host Marty was quick with any questions. I would definitely come back.

The property really is about as close as you can get to the sand and pool! Beautiful view. We have stayed at the resort a few times and this by far was our favorite stay. Perfect for a family of five, with three kids under 5 years old. Comfortable, clean, and cozy. Marty was more than communicative on the front end and we had no problems to contact him about during our stay. Will definitely try to book again!

We loved the condo and the location. The upstairs neighbors were noisy, but nothing you could do about that. We loved the location so close to everything, but a great quiet area. We would come back and recommend to friends.

Always Awesome!

Marty’s place is amazing! The location is perfect. The condo is spotless.The only consideration would be you were at the mercy of whoever stays on the third floor unit! Kids can be heard jumping or running-it only slightly diminishes the perfection of this vacation spot.

Break before work starts again.

Daughter and her friend needed this break before work starts again. They had a great time relaxing on the beach and pools. They appreciate Marty for allowing them to stay there. Thanks again!

Amazing view

This place was amazing. We especially loved sitting on the porch in the morning with our coffee and enjoying the view. The condo is even better than in the pictures. It’s close to the gulf and all the pools. It was perfect. We loved it so much that we booked it for next year. Marty is a wonderful host.

This was our second time to stay in this exact unit. We loved it the first time and couldn’t wait to return. Owner, Marty, is very personable and quick to respond when having questions. His condo is very clean and is only a few steps from the beach. Beds and furniture are comfortable too.

Wonderful family trip

Love this location as it was our first time staying here. Had a small issue with the AC unit but owner was very responsive and did everything to make it work. Was fixed in a timely manner and we enjoyed our trip. Location to the beach was great room was spotless and my children loved the numerous pools and amenities. Highly recommend this property and owner!!!!

Great spot!

For the price that we paid for this condo I could not have asked for more. The condo has access to pools, and the beach access is only a few steps away and it is kept very nice. The view from the condo's balcony is also gorgeous, you can see the beach and the dunes leading up to it. As for the condo itself, it was a really nice place, we had no complaints.

Beautiful condo. As close to the beach as one can get. Only the second room in the building from the beach..a few steps from the beach. Only a few steps from the pools. The entire building appeared to have been freshly painted recently. The unit itself appeared to have been painted within the past few months. We all said the pictures didn't do this justice. It's bright and fresh. Would love to stay in this unit again.

Fantastic Blessing for Families

The entire stay was amazing! Marty is so quick to respond & provided clear instructions on how to check in (fast & easy). He also provided locations to eat & shop 😁…The unit was so pretty & clean; towels were even folded He is absolutely a super host! . Admittedly, we stayed on the property as much as possible- so much to do with the beach, tennis, pickleball etc. The beds were great! The unit is small, but absolutely perfect if you are using it as a home base for outside activities …and our family of 5 was very comfortable. Minor issues with tenants above us, leaking air conditioner, and leaking patio door after a BIG storm. We definitely want to return!!! 5 star experience!

My family of four with my husband and two teen boys had a great week in Fort Morgan. We have stayed at this complex before, but loved the location of this specific condo.Pros:-Location of condo is wonderful. Loved being so close to the beach entrance and the pool.-Very clean and wonderful AC.-Loved the balcony. We spent so much time sitting out there watching the water and people watching.-Loved the condo layout. My boys were in a room far enough from us that they stayed up late, and we didn't hear them. The kitchen is small but totally big enough for us to make breakfast and simple lunches.-Really appreciated the beach chairs we could use.-Communication with Marty was excellent. He was quick to respond to my questions before we went.-We took advantage of the tennis, pickleball and vball courts. So much to do!Cons-The master bed was not the best. It dips in the middle.-The complex is about 20 minutes away from restaurants. We actually like not being in a super tourist area and pick this condo for that reason.-Only about 2 showers could happen before the hot water ran out. We figured out just to wait 30 minutes for the next shower.-Unfortunately 3rd floor neighbors were a bit loud. Nothing that could be helped, and I'm sure we were loud to the 1st floor neighbors. We used box fans at night, so we really couldn't hear anything after going to bed.

Wasn’t the worst wasn’t the best

Pro’s the property is nice the beach was super close, beautiful view, pools are right by the condo. Con’s the towels were like sand paper, the TP also like sand paper bring your own!!You have to bring your own beach towels which we drove so that wasn’t an issue but could be if flying. The beds were hard as rocks and the pillows were flat as paper. The master bath was the smaller one of the two and had black mold or dirt in the corners by the shower. There was no room to store food in cabinets since the kitchen was so small and cabinets were full of dishes etc. above the fridge was never cleaned (we had to store food here since there was no room in cabinets), and the fans have not been cleaned. The second bedroom did not get good air flow it was very warm so my kids slept in the living room which I could not find sheets for the bed. The living room tv was a smart tv but the bedrooms were not and the bedroom TVs were tiny you really couldn’t see them from the beds. Just being picky at this point but the utensils, dishes, etc were all older nothing matched but all usable and did the trick. We have stayed in many places where games and sand toys were provided they are not here (which I knew bc I asked) more of an FYI. Marty was great to deal with which makes writing this harder. There was a number on the fridge which I called because we had an issue with wifi I am not sure who I spoke with but she had no idea how to help.
