Small families, a group of couples, or several close friends will love this Gulf Highlands condo, featuring easy beach access, perks like a shared pool, and fantastic views from the private balcony.

The hotel is a short walk from the beach, as well as dining at the Sassy Bass Grill and the Kiva Grill. Fort Morgan is nine miles to the west, featuring its own beaches to explore alongside historic fortifications and boardwalks. The nearby Mobile Bay Ferry offers quick access to Dauphin Island. Shops, restaurants, and bars await in Gulf Shores 15 miles east.

Things to know:
Guests will have access to six outdoor pools on the Gulf Shores Plantation grounds plus one indoor pool, and sauna in the Dome Area of Bldg 4.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

The only issue we had was the door lock… and even then, still a perfect vacation spot. The issue was quickly resolved! Everything was super clean and tidy, and the location is super convenient! Would recommend this listing to anyone.

The condo was in a great location to the pools, beach, etc. The only thing I would add is make sure there is an extra cover/blanket for the sofa bed. I looked everywhere and finally went and purchased one!

Amazing location

The condo itself could use a few minor repairs and a new coat of paint, otherwise the location was amazing, it was quiet, everyone was very nice and we had a great vacation. The issues were when we got to the condo it had NOT been cleaned well, if at all. There was hair all over the bathroom floor, hair still stuck to the tub, and dirty foot prints in the tub floor. When we got into the bed the first night, there was hair in the bed/ on the pillow. They did offer to have a local person come into clean but we declined. The hot tub was under maintenance, then the next day the sign was gone but there was DIRTY foam at the top of the water and the water was colder than the pool water with the heater turned on. We only found 2 outdoor pools and the indoor pool, not sure where the rest were. I would stay again but I’m hoping some simple maintenance and better cleaning and all amenities will be in working order for our next visit.

We had a great time. The amenities at the complex were great. It was a short walk to the beach and balcony had a slight view of the ocean. The kitchen needed a few things. I bought pot holders while I was there and also there was only 1 spoon and 1 not so sharp knife. Also, needed a measuring cup. We enjoyed family time and would return.

Great condo for a beach focused trip

We really enjoyed this first floor condo unit. We had previously stayed in a condo on the same resort area. It had almost everything we needed for a family of five. Everything was in working order. Be sure to pack extra sheets for the pullout sofa, some oven mitts, cereal bowls and baking sheets if those are items needed for your trip. Overall the location was great and there is even a Dollar General close by for any forgotten items, which is helpful for this unit being further out in Fort Morgan.

Great Girl Trip

The property was beautiful. The condo was clean and pretty. Our only complaint would be more towels and wash clothes. We made it work and stretched them out for the days but more would have been nice. The kitchen could use a few more things for cooking. But over all great place.

It is close to the beach, pool, and a grill spot. Quick getting parking pass and into the condo. No maps or property layout. Condo details are 1 full bed in the master bedroom, 2 single beds in the other, and a pullout couch which is flaking apart on one end. TV has a weird sound eminating from it once it has been on for a while. AC was on 72 when we arrived and was able to move it to a still cool 76 degrees for the entire stay. AC was loud in the main bedroom which didn't help sleeping. Coffe maker was nasty but got a good cleaning. Pots and pans were in need of a cleaning as well and I cleaned the few I used. The rest are still dirty. Most of the silverware was there. Bunch of random utensils. The cutting knives are somehow duller than a butter knife. Plenty of towels, sheets, tp, soaps, and paper towels for our 4 night stay. One thing not in the property, a broom. The grounds were nice and kept up. The Sassy Bass restaurant was mediocre at best. Didn't use indoor pools, tennis courts, basketball courts, horseshoe pits. They did look good in the driveby.

Very Misleading

Unit was advertised as having a beach view. You can see the beach if you stand on the very end of the porch and stand on your tippy toes. Picture is very misleading. No Washer and Dryer as advertised (Has since been removed from ad). Make sure you bring everything to cook a meal. Only one pot hardy any cooking items. The property is nice, unlimited DVD rentals and plenty of pools for swimming. Only book this condo if you enjoy looking at a parking lot and walking 400 yards to the beach.
