This beach front home is the place to re-energize your senses...your well-being. Calm and peaceful, awesome sunsets and sunrises over the sugar white sands of Gulf Shores. You will see the dolphins, fish, and rays playing in the turquoise water of your front yard.
The Bedrooms:
Sleep has never been this sound. There are 6 bedrooms in total to accommodate your group in luxury, 2 Master Suites retreats with jacuzzi tubs and separate shower. One suite has a private Gulf Front balcony. Cable TV's, DVD's, VCR's throughout the bedrooms. There is a bunk room with toys for the little ones to play and romp in. The entire 3rd floor is the 6th bedroom (Double Futon) & Queen bed, with a wet bar & refridge, TV, and a HUGE 'Best view in town', 500 square foot Gulf Front deck. The bed types are (3)King, (2) Queen, (2)Double, single, (2)Triple Bunk Beds, and (2)Sleeper sofas.
WHAT TO DO:
All your need to bring is friends and family the rest is provided. Stainless steel gourmet kitchen, A 55' HD LCD TV with surround sound will entertain your slow down time. Three large (one of witch is 'huge') Gulf Front decks to watch and listen to the world slowing down.
THE AREA
Gulf Shores is a unique place, Explore the trails of the Bon Secour protected wildlife refuge whose 6000 acres of varied ecosystems are home to 373 species of birds. Fish in the surf or nearby in the bay. Build sandcastles in sugar sand. Explore the Civil War Fort made famous by Admiral Farraguts Command, 'Damn the Torpedoes, Full Speed Ahead'. Golf on one of the world class courses in the area. Gulf Shores Community offers a small town feel but with a variety of activities. Shopping options range from boutiques to Outlet centers and the area has many awesome restaurants.
Chivas by the Sea is 1.5 miles west of Hwy 59 so you feel away from it all, but are only minutes from Gulf Shores array of restaurants, shops and attractions. Nearby Lagoon Pass is wonderful for fishing, hermit crab hunting and more. Enjoy the water park, go carts, putt-putt and more, all just a few miles away. Within a half hour you can see historic Ft Morgan or the National Naval Air Museum and Blue Angels flight team. Large outlet mall 8 miles north in Foley. Parasailing and jet ski rentals are 2.5 miles east. There are a number of great golf courses and marinas in the Gulf Shores area and even dolphin watching cruises.

The good: location is fantastic and the house is cute from the outside. The host was good at communicating most of the time other than saying they were coming at 3pm and showing up hours later. The not-so-good: it was old and showing wear and tear, poorly cleaned and not well-maintained. Examples: thick dust / grime on ceiling fans, dirty vents, dirty windows. Kitchen countertop was cracked, bedroom window downstairs was cracked, window blinds damaged and several bedroom windows had no coverings at all. Showers / showerheads were also old and pressure wasn’t great. There were no games, books, DVD’s and very few beach items. The DVD player wasn’t even connected to anything… so we had a great time with family and are appreciative of the opportunity, but were not really impressed with the place and would look elsewhere next time.

Great Place to make some memories
The house was clean and cool and perfect for getting sand in our toes. The commercial ice machine with 200#s per day was over the top. The owner was very responsive to all our requests and needs.

Beautiful Views looking outside
Check in was 3PM. No contact with owner before hand. When we got there the maid service hadn’t even arrived. They got there at 3:15 PM and let us in. They had to clean so we left and returned around 5PM. House is in MAJOR needs of repair. Kitchen counter cracked badly, upstairs bedroom sliding glass door is in very bad condition and hard to close master bedroom will not lock. Picnic table is so warped it should be replaced. Ice maker would have been great if it worked. Oven light stays on and says hot surface even though we never used it. House is hard to look at when sitting on porch because of all the water damage and repairs needed to the fascia. Other then that the house is large and has the most spectacular views of the gulf

Great house and location!
This was the perfect house for our visit - not too far from the highest leading into Gulf Shores, but more importantly on the beach and LOTS of parking. I’ve always had parking issues when booking for large groups - why rent a space that sleeps more than 10 but room for only one car?! This place had more than enough parking!! Very pleased. Would highly recommend!

Great Place
Location was perfect! Private beach access. Beautiful white sandy beach. The house was nice as the pictures reflected. The only issues we came across were some cockroaches (typical humid beach stuff), the house cleanliness wasn’t great and we had no garbage bags upon arrival. Otherwise, it was good!

Great location for beach house
We really enjoyed the property which had ample space for 5 different families that stayed! Maybe just having some shades in the penthouse bedroom would be the only critique I would have…. But otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed and would return back there for another vacation again.

Great Vacation Home
Just stayed here with a large group of adults (20 people) and had an amazing time! The door was hard to lock in the beginning but the property manager answered and helped immediately. Location is great and the views are incredible. Highly recommend staying here!

The Pink house was perfect!!

A Great Family Vacation
We had a group of 7 adults and 12 kids for our family vacation. There was plenty of room for all of us and we loved the decks and location of the house with the beautiful beach and ocean just steps away. The check-in and check-out process was easy and Sam the owner was was quick to answer any questions we had. We had a great experience!

Family Retreat
Overall we were satisfied with the property. The beds were comfortable, and we had enough space for our family of 17. The house is old and could use some maintenance but it was okay with us. But the best draw was the location. It was perfect.

Commercial Ice Machine, Huge Family Table & On the Beach
My group of friends from college try to get back together at least once a year for a trip. This house could not have been a better fit for us, and honestly, I think we will go back. There were 13 of us, and we had PLENTY of space and sleeping space. The house has some wear and tear, but it was very comfortable for the group. The property owner was incredibly helpful before, during and after our stay. The commercial ice machine was CLUTCH. We loved the huge family table off the kitchen, and of course, it’s right on the beach. 10/10 booking this house!

A great experience
We had a big group of people come and stay at this property for a vacation and it was perfect for our needs. The house is plenty big and is averagely clean. As college students, this didn’t bother us at all!
Samuel was extraordinary and so helpful and kind. I would rate him a 12/10 if I could.
The location of the house was great and exactly as shown in the pictures.
My two complaints (which didn’t dampen our experience at all) was that 1. the outlets were weak and made charging cell phones slow and 2. there was a lack of curtains in the bedrooms so we tended to wake up early.
Overall, we had a blast! Thank you Sam!!

We're now spoiled for houses on the beach instead of condos!
First of all, the owner/manager, Sam, is excellent in communication and making sure you have what you need. Accommodating and helpful, he is a gem. He even called after we left to see if there was anything that needed his attention.
We loved the location of this house...surrounded by other houses on the beach, we enjoyed a relaxing trip, leaving only to pick up fresh fish and shrimp at the nearby fish market. The beach was never crowded, and with 13 of us in the house, the house didn't feel crowded either!
The house isn't exquisitely appointed - and you can see that from the pictures. So don't go in expecting perfection or something different... just enjoy what you came for: the beautiful beach and the time with those you're vacationing with. Unfortunately the deck off the 3rd floor was under renovation, and a fraternity had left the day before we arrived and had really done a number on the place (neighbors had some stories), which is why I rated a little lower on the cleanliness - the cleaning crew had their hands full and just not enough time. The owner assured us those items were just a timing issue and honestly, after we got past that and moved into vacation mode, our enjoyment of our trip outweighed those issues.
Sam challenged us to empty the ice maker, and with four coolers and daily usage - and making homemade ice cream twice - we could not do it. We gave it our best, but that industrial ice maker was just too efficient!
In the end, we would come back to Chivas by the Sea - it was plenty large enough for the 13 of us, and we thoroughly enjoyed walking out the back door and onto the beach seamlessly. So will you!
