Lighthouse Unit #1609...This condo is perfect for a small family. It has 1 bedroom, 2 bathrooms PLUS a BUNK ROOM and sofa bed sleeping a total of 6. Master features a King sized bed and soaking tub and stand alone shower in the Master Bath. Nicely decorated living room offers views of the beautiful gulf with entrance to the balcony! Breakfast bar and dining table seats a total of 8 with a fully-functioning kitchen and full sized washer-dryer set in the unit.

Your family will love the amenities at The Lighthouse Resort on Pleasure Island in Gulf Shores! It is located just one mile east of Highway 59.

We had a great stay. Host gave great directions for checking in and out, the things we needed and suggestions for the area. The condo was great. Just as described, with perfect view of the Gulf. Beds were comfortable and everything was neat and clean. Really loved it.

Everything about the condo is perfect, location, cleanliness, amenities, but the mattress or box springs or the bed frame itself, squeaks horribly with every movement. Just getting into and out of the bed makes enough noise to wake the dead. Whatever it is needs to be fixed, quickly.

We enjoyed staying in 1609 with our toddler for several days. The view from the balcony is amazing, the pools are great for kids, and the beach is clean and not too crowded!Plenty of space indoors to relax and everything we needed was provided. Very easy to get in touch with property managers and on site office if needed. Overall beautiful and very family friendly.We will definitely return!

Christmas getaway

Excellent communication leading up to the trip that including what to bring, what would be provided, check-in and check-out process and even an email with things to do in the area. The condo was surprisingly spacious for a one bedroom condo. The kitchen was well appointed with quality appliances and pots/pans, etc. The bedroom suite was large and had its own entry onto the balcony. The balcony was also quite spacious with a table an 4 chairs and two lounge chairs that still left room to maneuver. The trash shoots conveniently located. Absolutely stunning view of the Gulf of Mexico. Highly recommend . It was the perfect location and property for a relaxing vacation.

Needs a deep clean and Lighthouse needs to crack down on smoking

This was our third time staying at the Lighthouse, which we love. But this was by far our most expensive and least clean condo yet. The view was the only good thing about this room, but even that was ruined by constant cigarette smoke drifting. I will not book this room again and am questioning whether we will return to the Lighthouse. Management needs to crack down on smoking.

Great stay!

From check in to check out the process was easy and the facility was great. Just what we needed for a relaxing long weekend getaway. Balcony smokers from other units stunk up the place as their smoke wafted up to us on the 16th floor when we were outside on our balcony. But no smoking is something for the property to enforce, not the unit.
