'This was a quick overnight stay on the drive back from Cornwall. The off-street parking and affordability were key in our purchase. Our room was clean and spacious, staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious.'

'We travelled as a couple with our dog. From arrival all staff were very friendly and welcoming and explained local walks (with a map) that we could do with our dog. The room was exceptionally well kept and clean with lovely finishes. We had a balcony looking out over lush gardens and we could hear the river flowing which was beautiful.

'Lovely room, clean facilities, landlords very helpful and great selection on tap for the evening!'

'Great stay in a centrally located hotel/pub - staff were excellent and food first-class. Room and the facilities were very good The village was very pleasant too! I would absolutely stay here again.'

'Where do you start. Car park is a Pay and Display between the hours 9am-6pm. No food available not even breakfast. Room was old and tiered. Bathroom stank and not clean, there was a floater in the loo, not nice to see when you walk in. Music from the bar went on until closing time so good luck trying to get any sleep until then. When you go to leave the next day you cant get out of the door you came in you have to use the fire escape, The only redeeming factor was the bar staff, she was pleasant...

'Romantische kamer met ruim voldoende voorzieningen. Heerlijk ontbijt in naastgelegen café met bourgondisch karakter.. Eigen beschutte parkeerplaats.'

'Excellent stay with an everything you need. This was our second time in the same lodge and we will definitely be back. Very close to beaches and towns. '
