My recent stay at Hilton was disappointing due to a lack of clear communication and hospitality. After a long and exhausting day, I expected a smooth check-in experience, but instead felt I had to advocate for myself rather than being proactively assisted. Important details about my status and confirmation were not clearly addressed, which made the process more frustrating than it needed to be. Overall, the service felt disorganized and lacking the ease and attentiveness I associate with Hilton.
My stay overall wasn’t bad — the hotel itself was a nice accommodation especially for the price that came with the package via Expedia. However, the customer service and hospitality at the front desk were consistently lacking throughout my visit. Each time I approached the desk, I didn’t feel welcomed or genuinely assisted. The only warmth and hospitality I experienced came from one older staff member and the cleaning crew, who were kind and professional. Unfortunately, the overall front desk experience didn’t reflect the level of service I expect.
