Overall, I had a nice stay. The room could have been a little cleaner, as there was some dust, but it wasn’t a major issue. I also had to call to have the bathtub unclogged, though I understand it’s an older hotel and things like that can happen. The staff was generally very friendly and helpful. There was one employee who could have been a bit more welcoming, but everyone has off days. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it, especially because of its great location right on the boardwalk. I’d give it a 7/10.

I had stayed in this hotel many times before, years ago. I looked at the pictures online and showed that they had remodeled their bathrooms, and it looked really nice. I booked it for a weekend. They gave me a room that was disgusting, the tv was on when we open the door which was weird. The small looked ran down, and I checked the bathroom, it was not remodeled. There was sand in the tub and I didn't feel comfortable at all. The bathroom door was so rotten that it was split on the bottom. When I went to lock the door, the chain fell off the door. I went down to the front desk, and told them that I was not happy with the room, specially the bathroom, she told me only the ocean front rooms were updated. That's not on their website. I went back upstairs, and I wasn't ok with this, so I called, and they told they'll switch us rooms, I agreed. The second room was pretty much the same, the front door had a gap of like 3 inches on top where you could stick your hand in there!. I packed and left. The front door guy was really nice and understood, like he knew. There were 3 other people complaining at the same time I was there. They are supposed to refund my money to expedia, I know not book this hotel at all. It's ashamed, the amenities are great, the pool is nice, the lobby is nice, the front deck on the boardwalk is nice, but the rooms! omg.
