'The property was very neat and the host was very accommodating. Unfortunately, we had something come up and were unable to stay through the night. This campground is highly recommended for anyone looking to get off grid for a few days.'

'This was a hidden gem. It so exceeded our expectations. The reception staff was very friendly and personable. Our key card holder had a handwritten greeting with our name written on it. The lobby and room was like a woodsy lodge in decor. Our room was quiet with comfortable beds. There was a snack basket and a welcome note on the kitchenette counter. We also received a good bye note under the door in the morning. The grounds were pretty and a fire pit burning at night. It may seem old school but...

'Very friendly staff and the snacks and water provided for free were super handy on our travel day. '

'We stayed one night. Bed was super comfortable. There was a machine running in the room for humidity. I did notice there was no exhaust fan that would run in the bathroom, so maybe that is why. It was no big deal. We just turned it off because it was loud. I wish the front desk person was a little more friendly. All in all, it was very pleasant stay.'

'Was ruim van formaat en goed ongedeelt. Behoorlijke keuken faciliteiten'

'Very clean hotel.'

'Second time staying! Love everything about this quaint little place.'

'The rustic, natural location was ideal for exploring and creativity. The cabin room was spacious. The natural gas logs were efficient and heated the large room quickly. The bathroom was clean. However, the lights above the sink did not work such that the lighting produced strong shadows and low lighting. The rocker recliners were clean, but my mate refused to sit as they were too low to the floor. The breakfast was amazing. The cost was very reasonable. Good experience. I look forward to...

'Our stay was wonderful! It was a beautiful place to stay. We will definitely return. Jody and Shawn were so friendly! Highly recommended!'

'Kimberly and her husband Rich were wonderful hosts. Very friendly and helpful. Great communication leading up to our stay. Charming property. We loved the outdoor spaces and we really enjoyed Rich's top-quality breakfasts that were specially prepared for each of us. We will definitely be returning. Barry and Terri, Oct 2026.'

'Great stay..we opted for the suite... Lots of room... really enjoyed thr separate seating area from the bedroom... Room was clean and well stocked... I do wish they had an outside "space" with a place to sit, and enjoy a coffee or cigar or the like... All that is on the premises is one bench right outside the front door.'

'Very friendly and cordial staff!'

'Fantastic place !!!'

'The room we had was small, so plan accordingly'

'We enjoyed our one night at this historic hotel. It is a very unique place with a rich history. Great location. Nice breakfast. We really liked the happy hour with wine and cheese. Recommended.'
