'I have been staying in Dartmouth working for the past 8 months and wish I found this place sooner. It is a lovely room with views and the couple are lovely and very welcoming. This place is better than all the hotels that I have stayed in. Would 100% recommend and happily stay in again.'

'Disappointing stay at this hotel. The staff were a little unwelcoming and the service was not great. A beautiful location but this was let down by terrible parking, poor facilities and attention to detail that wasn’t there!!!! The spa was poor with an outlook to a wall!! The room was also disappointing with hair on my pillow and uncomfortable cheap pillows. I was very much looking forward to this stay but was very disappointed.'

'A great hotel with an amazing view right on the South Sands beach . Quite a distance from Salcombe if you are walking and the roads around the area are very narrow ( single track) and steep. We used the ferry to get to Salcombe although it only runs until late afternoon and costs £5.50 each way . The food was good and quite reasonably priced. The decor at the hotel was a little tired . Lots of dogs were in residence and were made very welcome. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Overall...

'Hope Cove is a lovely place to stay. Food at the Hope and Anchor was five star. Staff were friendly. We did feel however that certain parts needed more attention. There was thick dust under the dresser in restaurant area. There is a paying car park next door which was £12 for 24 hours.'

'I called just to confirm that we would be able to go to the office to collect the keys on Sunday and that the office would definitely be open , even had an email confirming this but this was not the case - luckily for us someone in the office was able to call us to confirm the process that we had to take to collect the keys , just as well that we had a signal where we were on the time of the call !! 'We enjoyed our stay at this historic, well-equipped vacation apartment. The property had everything we needed. While the walk into Dartmouth was more than just a gentle stroll, it was a great way to work up an appetite for the town’s restaurants and cafes. We found enough to keep us occupied in Dartmouth and only felt the need to use our car on a rainy day.'

'The property was in a great location for the town centre. The road is very narrow so be mindful of what size car you have, but we were fine. Only enough parking for one car, so had to park in the park and ride for the other car, but that was easy enough. House is fully equipped, very clean and comfortable and would definitely recommend.'

'Lovely location and a great place to stay. Made all the more easier by having a parking permit available for us to use. Flat was well equipped and lovely and clean. Had a little trouble disposing of the rubbish as they requested as we couldn’t access the rubbish location, and the instructions for the check out were a bit confusing. I would definitely early recommend this flat though.'

'Overall, a love experience. The property was decievingly spacious, clean and filled with great entrainment facilities. An added benefit of a washer/dryer that makes that going back home experience better. Car parking permit included also. A great way to celebrate a significant ceremony in a stunning part of the country. Would highly recommend and stay again when in the area. '
