Lodges in Great Allegheny Passage

'We liked the location, close enough to the turnpike but very quiet. Interestingly, but as advertised, there was no staff present for the lodging, and the people at the on-site restaurant/bar seemed to know little about the rooms. The curtains did a poor job of blocking out the light from the pathways and parking lots. The carpet had some large chunks of something (dogfood?) that apparently their vacuum couldn't find but our bare feet did. The hot water took forever (5 min) to arrive in the...

'We had a wonderful stay in the West Virginia mountains! This is such a unique and special place, with a beautiful yurt and a wood-fired sauna that made the experience even more memorable. Everything was exceptionally clean, well-organized, and thoughtfully arranged. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, making it the perfect place to relax, unwind, and reconnect with nature.
