Monte das Casolas is a picturesque rural retreat located in the countryside south of Grândola, Portugal. Once an old farmhouse abandoned for over 40 years, Monte das Casolas combines rustic charm with modern comfort, creating a unique and inviting atmosphere.

The houses, carefully integrated into the natural environment, were built without disturbing the existing trees, preserving the topography and allowing guests to fully enjoy the unspoiled landscape. Accessible by a short walk from the access road (no more than 30 meters), cars are parked along the service road near each house.

Embracing a sustainable lifestyle, Monte das Casolas emphasizes waste reduction, reuse, and recycling. The farm produces organic and probiotic products, promoting a healthier future.

Seven “Casolas” are scattered across the hills. Five are wooden structures, each with three bedrooms. The Casas do Monte, with two bedrooms, retain their traditional Alentejo architecture and include a wood-fired oven and an annex converted into an animal shelter with three additional bedrooms. The Casa do Alpendre, also with three bedrooms, is ideal for group gatherings.

The property includes a covered, heated space available for retreats, corporate events, and other small gatherings, accommodating up to 42 people in double rooms. The extensive outdoor area offers ample opportunities to relax and enjoy the countryside, with a round pool for refreshing dips and sunbathing areas.
